The Villa
Villa Folia is a modern, luxury property on a 5000sq m plot, offering the ultimate in indulgence and elegance, with breathtaking views over the city of Chania. There are 9 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, including three two bedroomed apartments, it can accommodate up to 18 people. All beds are 160cm x200cm

If you have not visited before, Chania is a truly magical city, with winding lanes, charming architecture, and a beautiful harbor, where you can watch breath-taking sunsets in the evening. Showcasing the best of Crete, its landscape, natural beauty, service and atmosphere, Villa Folia will have you wanting to return every year if you can!
The villa has been carefully designed, with an attention to detail that will meet the highest expectations for your holiday. The décor combines modern luxury with the exclusive ambience of a private home, so you can plan spectacular celebrations, followed by cosy nights in. Accommodating up to ten guests, the villa is split so one large group can share its fantastic living spaces, or two families can balance out time together and privacy apart.
On the ground floor the front door opens immediately into a bright, open plan living space. There is an intimate atmosphere, with a fully equipped kitchen, dining table and cosy lounge. The tiled flooring extends the whole way through the room and onto the terrace, creating a seamless sense between the interior and exterior living spaces. Small details make this open room feel like a home, the kind of place you can curl up, play games, and relax enjoying time away from day-to-day life. There are four spacious double bedrooms on this floor, all with large glass sliding doors that open to a sequence of sunny outdoor spaces.
Stepping upstairs, you will find yourself in Villa Folia’s showstopping, open plan entertaining area. This vast space is flooded with light, with high ceilings, skylights, and floor-to-ceiling glass doors on either side. The contemporary kitchen will thrill any budding chefs, perfect for preparing elegant evening meals or canapes for a special occasion! There is a large dining table at the centre of the room, with feature pendant lighting and space for fourteen to dine together. To the other side an oversized sofa faces a heart-warming wood-burner. This floor is completed by three bedrooms, a master suite with its own private balcony and two double bedrooms with doors leading out to a shared balcony.
Of course, with such spectacular vistas, you will want to spend as much time as possible outdoors. You can spend hours relaxing by the private heated pool or reclining by the poolside on a lounger looking out over the city of Chania. There are various seating area spread around the grounds, so you can chase the sun and soak up every minute of your holiday.
- The pool is not gated and it is a major condition that your usage of the rental property and the pool is entirely at your own risk. Guests are specifically requested not to allow unsupervised children or adult non-swimmers to use the pool or use breakable materials in or around the pool.
- The villa boasts three open-plan kitchen and living areas, great for large groups or two families travelling together.

Yes, there is a separate charge for weddings (on top of the usual rental cost) – please enquire. If you would like to organise more than one event, there is another charge. Please also ask about the increased security deposit for weddings/events.

There are limited security measures in place – as always, guests are responsible for their belongings. There is a safe inside the villa for guests staying there.
Events do not have time limits, however there are certain specific music/noise restrictions – there should be no loud music between 1500-1700 and after 2300 (following Hellenic legislation).
Please note that outsourcing of decoration, catering, sound and light equipment is not permitted.
Fireworks are only permitted in line with governmental guidance and Hellenic legislation (and according to the risk of fire on that day).
Please note that any event rental may be subject to additional charges, venue hire fees and to a higher security deposit, which will be in addition to any published rental rates and fees.
All events are on request only and subject to prior agreement from the owner, who reserves the right to refuse all events without their prior authorisation.
