Children will love the swings and table tennis, and there’s a lovely table for al-fresco dining in the shade. Meanwhile, three electrically-assisted bikes are available on request, ideal for exploring the region’s rolling hills and hidden hamlets.
One of three characterful houses within the same estate, Lescalparède is set in open countryside just minutes from village life, offering easy access to Salviac and Cazals for morning croissants or evening apéritifs. The medieval market town of Gourdon is only 20 minutes away, while the atmospheric lanes of Sarlat-la-Canéda, with its golden stone facades and vibrant Saturday market, lie within half an hour. Days can be filled with canoeing in Domme, boat rides from La Roque-Gageac or simply soaking in the region’s rich cultural tapestry.
