Villa Belle Provence is in the Bouches-du-Rhône department of Provence, just 1km from an attractive old village with shops and restaurants. This is a great location for visiting Saint-Rémy-de-Provence (7.5km) to the south and the gorgeous landscapes of Les Alpilles whilst historic Avignon (16km) is less than half an hour away by car.
The TGV train station in Avignon is only 15km away with direct arrivals from Paris Gare de Lyon (the train journey from Paris takes 2 hours 40 minutes). If flying, the nearest airports are Avignon (16km), Nîmes Airport (45km) and Marseille Provence Airport (77km).

It is a great base for visiting many popular parts of Provence whilst the location also allows you to soak up authentic village life amongst locals nearby.
If you are looking for larger supermarkets and other amenities, Châteaurenard (6.5km) and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence (7.5km) are both within a short drive. Spend time admiring the artistic charm of Saint-Rémy with its cobbled lanes, bistros, café terraces and art galleries alongside the wonderful Wednesday morning market which attracts visitors from across the region.
Heading into the heart of Les Alpilles, find hiking routes, horse-riding, pony-trekking, cycling opportunities as well as wine and olive-oil tastings. Picture-perfect villages include Les Baux-de-Provence (16km) and Eygalières (19km) or stop off in Maussane-les-Alpilles (17km), famed for its olive oil production, for a lovely lunch on the village square.
As well as the historic city of Avignon (16km), other great days out include L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (29km) and its antique shops (and Sunday morning brocante), Fontaine-de-Vaucluse (34km) for canoeing and kayaking along the Sorgue, Nîmes (51km) with its beautifully preserved Roman sites and the magnificent Pont du Gard (38km).
Experience yet more of Provence by driving across to the perched villages of the Luberon. Gordes (39km) and Roussillon (50km) are two gems of this wonderful region amongst landscapes of mountains, woodland, orchards and vineyards.
