Maison Pierre-Louis is an elegant and richly appointed home emphasizing comfort, quiet and luxury.

This 15th Century home is rich in an old world rustic charm, with many unspoilt period features, including the grand stone fireplace, Persian rugs, ornate chandeliers and a treasure trove of antique furniture and artworks. This maison is a place to come together and appreciate the simple joys that we leave behind in our fast paced modern lives. Sing together round the baby grand piano, relax with a good read in the vast library, or take a stroll on the 52 private acres of gorgeous Loire countryside.

Start each day of your stay with breakfast at sunrise on the large West terrrace, and close with cocktails and dinner on the East lawn on a warm summers eve. Maison Pierre-Louis is just over 1km from the nearby village of Varennes-sur-Loire with its bakery, mini superette, bar and tabac/newstand.

  • The owners live on the estate. They are welcoming yet discreet - you may see them tending to the grounds.
  • The estate is also home to Manoir Anoir (6 guests). There is no access for Maison Pierre-Louis guests to the swimming pool that is on site.
  • You will need a car as the house is rather isolated out in the countryside.
  • The owner has informed us that this property has wheelchair access. However, please contact us before booking so we can discuss individual accessibility requirements with the owner to ensure that this property is suited to your specific needs.
