In the Vienne countryside, Bois de Rose is a characterful country home where timeless charm meets laid-back holiday living. Set within a hectare of grounds, this delightful abode enjoys easy access to nearby towns and attractions. From lazy afternoons by the pool to evenings under the stars next to the Moroccan-style pool house, this is a place made for slow days and unforgettable moments.
The house itself features generous spaces and traditional style. A double-height living room centres the home, opening to a cosy TV lounge with its own bar and a separate games room complete with billiards. The farmhouse-style kitchen invites family meals and lively breakfasts, with doors opening directly onto the garden. An ensuite ground-floor bedroom offers direct access to the poolside terrace, while upstairs three further bedrooms provide flexible accommodation (one double and two twins) alongside a large shared bathroom.
Outside, the pool area is truly the heart of the estate. A private, heated 10-metre pool sits alongside a summer kitchen, shaded dining area and relaxed lounge space. At the far end, the striking Moroccan pool house blends colour, comfort and open-air living with a bar, darts board and ample room for long, laughter-filled meals. Table tennis, sun loungers and a plancha barbecue add to the summer rhythm of life here.
Bois de Rose enjoys an enviable location between the historic city of Poitiers and the medieval charm of Chauvigny, both within easy reach. Local village life awaits just five minutes by car in Saint-Julien-l'Ars with its bakeries, supermarket and café-bar, while the world-famous Futuroscope theme park makes an easy day trip for family adventures.
Whether gathering with friends or making memories as a family, Bois de Rose offers space to unwind and reconnect, all wrapped in the easy pleasures of French country living.
- The charming owners live in an independent house on the estate – rest assured all facilities remain for your exclusive use (including the parking area).
