The closest lift is Tougnete 1, a short ski from the property, and you are also brilliantly placed for the Saulire Express, making it easy to spread out across the Three Valleys from the very start of your day. Sleeping up to fourteen adults, this impressive four-floor chalet combines generous proportions with a warm alpine feel, making it an excellent choice for larger groups who want to maximise time on the mountain.

Inside, the chalet blends traditional timber architecture with refined contemporary touches. The main living and dining space is designed for sociable evenings, centred around a large open fireplace and framed by big windows that draw in the snowy scenery. A separate kitchen sits to the rear, keeping the heart of the chalet calm and uncluttered while meals are prepared.

Location

Chalet Pedrix Noire is set in an outstanding position in Méribel, placing you right at the centre of the resort’s ski action while remaining easy to navigate beyond the slopes. Located at the bottom of the Mauduit piste, the chalet offers true ski-in ski-out convenience, with the Tougnete 1 lift reached via a short ski of around 50 metres. From here, you can quickly access a broad mix of terrain, while the nearby Saulire Express provides a fast link towards Courchevel and the wider Three Valleys ski area.

This prime setting makes skiing effortless from first lift to last run. There is no need for buses or long walks in ski boots, and returning to the chalet at the end of the day is just as smooth, with the piste leading you straight back to the door.

When it comes to exploring Méribel away from the slopes, guests benefit from the added convenience of a private minibus service, making it easy to reach restaurants, après-ski spots, and village amenities without relying on public transport. The chalet is also well placed for enjoying Méribel’s lively centre, offering access to shops, bars, and dining options while still retaining a sense of calm and privacy.

Getting to and around

Méribel is a village with a true alpine heart. You won’t find blocks of hotels and purpose-built facilities here. Instead, the compact and lively town centre is picture-postcard perfect, and its atmosphere is quaint and fairytale-like. It is without a doubt the most romantic resort in the area and if you’re planning a couples holiday in the snow you’ll definitely want to take a closer look at Méribel.

At the centre of the world famous Trois Vallées (Three Valleys), Méribel makes up part of the largest ski domain in the world. Across the valleys, it has six sister resorts. You can either get a single-resort lift pass and keep to the fantastic beginner and intermediate terrain there, but you also have the option of purchasing a pass that covers the whole area.

The advanced lift system at Méribel will let you maximise your time on the snow and make sure you’re not waiting around in queues. With 67 runs to try out just in the resort itself, there is no time to be wasted. Just beware of the afternoon sun cutting things short on the west-facing slopes and prepare to get up with the sun if you’re after untouched powder.

At it’s highest skiing point Méribel reaches an altitude of 2952 metres and the descent from this point is known to be one of the most scenic runs around.

Aside from the world-class skiing, Méribel is also known to be one of the liveliest resorts in the Three Valleys. Many of its residents and bar-owners (as well as plenty of its visitors) are expat-Brits who certainly know how to party. The après-ski scene here is truly top-notch!
