Chateau d’Aleny is situated in Burgundy, only 40-minutes from Beaune and the famous vineyards of the Côte-d’Or.
Beaune, the wine-capital of the region, is 36km away. Visit the amazing Hospices de Beaune, one of France’s most stunning historical buildings and don’t miss the great market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Food-lovers should also try and get to one of the thirty Michelin starred establishments in the town and surrounding wine villages, including Maison Lameloise, a 100-year old restaurant with 3 Michelin stars in Chagny, also a forty-minute drive away.
In this area you can discover world-famous vineyards and sample the very finest wines from the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits appellations. Explore some of the idyllic villages of the Route des Grands Crus such as Puligny-Montrachet, Pommard and Meursault, all within an hour’s drive.
