Formerly the groom’s stables, Etables Serbise has been converted into a holiday home. The estate, including vast areas of stunning parkland, includes an impressive Chateau Serbise and homely Domaine Serbise, all three historical homes can be rented together for large groups and celebrations or booked separately for an ideal family holiday.
At Etables Serbise, country-style accommodation lets your family come together; cook a beautiful meal, open a bottle of local wine and toast your good fortune! There are six bedrooms, including two in a Rapunzel-like tower plus an inviting living room and a kitchen-diner, all furnished with simplicity and comfort. There are many characterful features such as stone walls and wood beamed ceilings as well as a swimming pool surrounded by a shaded terrace and space for children to play.
Whilst the charming home is full of history, you will find all the modern conveniences you would expect such as a well-equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, fibre-optic Wi-Fi and satellite TV. The villa features a lovely terrace, barbecue and al-fresco eating area in addition to the private swimming pool, not forgetting the estate’s spacious gardens and parkland for you to explore.
Within 7km can find yourself in medieval Pons with restaurants, small shops and historical sights. Activities in the area include golf, horse-riding and canoeing. Beach-lovers only have to travel just over half an hour to the coast – there are long stretches of sandy beaches from St Georges de Didonne to St Palais sur Mer. Wine aficionados needn’t travel far either with dozens of wineries and Cognac nearby. This region has a particularly mild climate all year round and it can be one of the sunniest parts of France during from late Spring to Autumn.
Etables Serbise and the surrounding estate offer a base full of character in a glorious historical setting, ideal for a holiday with family or friends wanting to explore this sunny and delightful area.
