Formentera: Getting there and around

By plane and ferry

Fly from the UK to Ibiza Airport in around 2.5 hours. From there, regular ferries run from Ibiza Town to Formentera, with crossings taking approximately 30 minutes.

By bike or scooter

Formentera is ideal for exploring on two wheels. Bicycles and scooters are widely available to rent, and many scenic routes connect beaches, villages and coastal viewpoints.

By car

Car hire is available on the island and can be useful for reaching more remote beaches or countryside villas, though distances are short and roads are easy to navigate.
