Families or friends looking for the perfect abode for a spot of switch off in Jamaica will certainly find Wag Water at Prospect Estate a wonderful proposition. It is chic, effortlessly stylish and oozes luxury. It comes with wonderful staff who will cater to your every whim. Sitting on the hillside with sensational uninterrupted sea views on the Prospect Estate, near Ocho Rios, it enjoys clean lines, contemporary furnishings and a cool vibe that will encourage you to embrace the calm. Wag Water at Prospect Estate boasts three exceptional bedroom suites, gorgeous living spaces and absolutely superb outdoor space with a superb swimming pool.

Prospect Estate boasts one thousand stunning acres on the north coast of Jamaica, nestled between the azure waters of the Caribbean Sea and the lush greenery of the mountains. It is a magical spot where you will totally relax, unwind and rejuvenate. It is just a short distance from the picturesque town of Ocho Rios, one mile east of the White River, which separates the parishes of St Ann and St Mary. You will feel the tranquillity fold around you as you relax in absolute peace and quiet here. The estate was purchased in 1936 by Sir Harold Mitchell, whose affection for Jamaica began when he was a small boy. In 1947, he married and arrived at the Great House with his bride and, over the next forty years, hosted heads of state, royalty and diplomats, establishing a custom of inviting guests to plant trees on the estate. He hosted the Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, Sir Winston Churchill, Sir Edward Heath, Henry Kissinger, HRH Prince Phillip and many others. Winston Churchill’s large Jamaican mahogany, planted in 1953, stands by the entrance to the Great House. Sir Harold set about planting large areas of the estate with Jamaican pimento, coconuts, limes, bananas, pineapples, coffee and sugar cane, and although the estate no longer practices commercial agriculture, the crops are maintained, and guests enjoy seeing them.

Guests staying at Water Wag at Prospect Estate enjoy the estate facilities, including tennis courts with complimentary racquets and balls, a wellness centre with a gorgeous spa and massage area, and a well-equipped gym. Guests also enjoy discounts on Yaaman tours when booked there, discounted green fees at the nearby Sandals Upton Golf course, priority booking of Dolphin Cove attractions and one complimentary airport transfer based on a seven-night stay.

Wag Water is a beautiful villa with a waterfront location on the estate. It is named after the river, which meanders through the local parish of St Mary. It enjoys a wonderful contemporary feel and is sprinkled with gorgeous modern furnishings. Large windows let in the unique sparkle of Jamaican light, making every space bright and airy. The main living room enjoys a calm, neutral colour palette with a vibrant sofa, accent chairs and modern artwork adding glorious colour splashes. Under a gorgeous beamed vaulted ceiling, you can relax and enjoy the smart television, or you can head out directly to a large covered verandah.

The three bedrooms are beautifully presented with giant lavish beds, all adorned with the highest quality linens and gorgeous soft furnishings. Modern wooden furniture and colourful artwork complete the picture. Your ensuite bathrooms are immaculately stylish, and you enjoy the very best fittings. They all come with walk-in rainfall showers, robes, slippers and fluffy towels.

The terrace is absolutely wonderful, with exquisite sea views and quality furnishings. You can dine alfresco, relax on comfy sofas and chairs, enjoy pre-dinner drinks provided by your butler and count your blessings for this heavenly abode. The villa comes with four staff, including a cook, so you will be truly pampered during your stay. Beyond the covered terrace is a sensational garden sprinkled with towering trees, lush lawns, colourful borders and other garden furniture. A sun deck is home to quality loungers and parasols boasting spectacular seascapes. Just below this is your wonderful swimming pool, where you can cool off and enjoy some family fun. You absolutely will not want to leave this dreamy property and its gardens.
