The incredibly large and spacious layout of the rooms, coupled with the wide open doorways means that guests can relax alone and together with ease of access, convenient for adults with younger kids!
Villa Straleen's adoption of Mediterranean design throughout the villa creates an ambience of adventure and voyage, further complimented by the fishing boats and ships that the views from the villa provide!
Engrossing and intimate areas on the ground floor, including two living rooms, and the upstairs room house a 32” television, computer and comfy overstuffed sofas!
Wide doors on the ground floor open up to the wondrous exterior of Villa Straleen! Bougainvillaea, hibiscus, shrimp flowers and oleander, attracting delicate hummingbirds, who's renowned song tweets will lull you into a state of zen! Enjoy these sounds as you soak in the glistening private pool, the bar on the verandah or the heated jacuzzi and watch as guests play on the villa's three-hole putting green or as ships sail across the vast ocean!
The crowning gem, the private golden beach just off the soft grassy lawn, is yours and yours only! With complimentary sea kayaks and an offshore sunning platform with delightful seating, you can take part in carefree hours of sport and relaxation on the azure water or watch the activities and lounge in the dazzling Jamaican sun.
The six en-suite bedrooms situated within the two storey villa allow stunning views whilst being spacious and roomy, with options for sleeping arrangements! And don't worry about your littlest ones, as the family-friendly Villa Straleen provides cribs and high chairs for babies!
To top off this amazing experience, Villa Straleen offers a fantastic and friendly staff service, including butlers, a chef, housekeeper, laundress and gardeners! With poolside grill stations, shaded open-air dining decks, beachfront picnic tables and an outdoor dining table, the choices to eat the delicious jerk cuisine the chef will serve couldn't be more difficult! As a finishing touch, the staff will plan a torchlight beach party ~ offering a selection of chicken, lobster or fresh-caught fish grilled on the outdoor barbecue!

- Remember, it is customary to pay a 15% Gratuity fee before leaving your Villa in Jamaica
- Please note that you will need to select 12 guests should you wish to have access to all 4 bedrooms. Those selecting fewer guests will only have access to a prorated number of bedrooms based on 2 guests per room.
- Villa Straleen is located next door to Villa Garvey, they can be booked together to offer 13 bedrooms, 2 swimming pools, 2 private beaches, 2 gyms and 2 tennis courts.

Located in Discovery Bay, on the northern coast of Jamaica, the villa is conveniently located west of the city of Ocho Rios, one of the most vibrant entertainment hubs of the country and east of Montego Bay, a more tranquil yet as adventure filled cities!

With many different seating areas on the beautiful grounds of the exterior of the villa, guests are given the chance to experience the holiday of a lifetime with the delightful private beach which connects the villa lawn with the enchanting blue sea!
Miles and miles of coastal shores provide untold amounts of beaches, so have your pick amongst the many, such as Cardiff Hall beach and Salem beach, less than twenty minutes away. If you are looking for a touch of adventure and a journey into the underground and nostalgia of Jamaica, the Green Grotto Caves is the perfect place to be! Linked to both the island’s history and area, this gem remains a major natural attraction for both local visitors and tourists who crave wonder! On your outward journey of this enchanting tour, stop at the “Wishing Well” and throw in a coin, for luck, for love or any of your hearts desires! And guess what? It's only a ten-minute journey away!
Head over to Ocho Rios if you are still craving more adventure! With tours galore, explore Dunn’s River Falls, the perfect first stop on your list of must visits! Find yourself walking along the beach and right into the falls, a breathtaking landscape that makes for perfect spots to climb, splash, explore and safely play with the youngest children as the waterfalls pour around you!
One of the highlights of this area includes the Blue Hole, an obligatory stop for all members of the family. A beautiful, pale, chalky, blue river surrounded and embedded in a lush green forest! The enticing blue water will want to make you jump inside and you can do just that by jumping off one of the many platforms or swinging off one of the various rope swings around the river!

Prior to Booking
Please be aware that Jamaica is an island nation that experiences weather patterns dictated by the Atlantic Ocean to the north of the island and the Caribbean Sea to the south of the island. This tropical rainforest climate results in the island experiencing a hurricane season, which usually occurs between June to November. Entry Requirements
Tourists who are British Citizens will not require a visa upon arrival and Departure Tax is included in most flight costs. Please check Entry Requirements before departure.
Getting There
Jamaica has two international airports, Donald Sangster in Montego Bay and Norman Manley, Kingston.
From the US:
There are many direct flights with Jet Blue, Caribbean, Delta, American and United from cities including New York, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston and Philadelphia.
From the UK:
There are direct flights to Montego Bay from Gatwick and Manchester with American Airlines, British Airways or Virgin Atlantic. Glasgow and Belfast passengers can also fly via the US with United Airlines.

To give you all that and more, Villa Straleen comes equipped with its own private beach! So at your luxury and convenience, hit the beach with all guests, no matter their age or size, as the waters are calm and still by the shore. Sea kayaks, paddle-boards and snorkelling equipment provided to guests allow you to explore the majesty of the Caribbean Sea!
But it doesn't stop there as the location of the villa affords sessions with water sport activities. Beaches litter the coast but stay on the lookout for Puerto Seco Beach, great for kids as the idyllic beach with its beautiful sandy shores and crystal blue sea, is complemented by bars and restaurants, private cabanas, obstacle courses and water sports!
Kids and adults alike will enjoy a day in the many water and adventure parks in the area including Wata Land Park and Yaaman Adventure, where you can feel the adrenaline rush on a mud vehicle ride through the jungle, ride camels or swim with the dolphins!
Kids will have an unforgettable experience at the Turtle River Falls and Gardens, a vast tropical garden handily nestled in nearby Ocho Rios. Villa Staff included at this property:
A full-time dedicated chef, butler, housekeeper, night watchman and personal laundress attend exclusively to your villa.
Your cook will handle grocery shopping and meal preparation. They will pre-purchase your first few meals plus pantry staples, then finish the week's shopping after meeting with you. At week's end, they will present receipts for all food and beverage and reconcile your account. A typical grocery budget is $55-$65 per adult per day and $20-25 per day for preteens. This may vary up or down depending on market prices and menus.(more luxurious items such as shrimp, lobster, imported meats and Champagne will incur a further charge).
Your cook will also pre-purchase a small starter bar (a few bottles of Red Stripe, moderately-priced wine and rum). Additional alcohol requests will increase your budget. If you wish to go to the various markets with them, you are welcome. Otherwise, simply review your tastes and distastes with them and they'll handle it all while you stay at the villa and relax.
A nanny can be arranged for an average of $12 per hour. Guests should plan to add approximately $20 per day for food for their nanny.

Villa Conditions
- Bedrooms will be allocated dependent upon ‘Number of Guests’ at the time of Booking. Any unused Bedroom(s) may not be available to Guests.
- A 50% deposit may be required for bookings that include Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years Eve.
- A obligatory Gratuity rate of 15% of the overall booking is due to be paid to the Staff before departure. Please plan to pay in Cash (US Dollars or the local currency).

Amazing Staff
The villa offered a serene and tranquil atmosphere for my family to spend time together. The staff, however took the vacation to another level. Attentive, polite, and very accommodating to our every request. They are definitely a valuable asset to the villa.
