About the surrounding area of Villa TulangVilla Tulang is set in the fantastic location of Canggu, a charming resort village tucked in the southern coast of Bali, offering a wealth of attractions. From vibrant eateries and eclectic boutiques, to hypnotic beaches and a throbbing nightlife, you are in for a treat.
Dip your feet in azure waters, or soak in rolling rice paddy fields that surround the property. Travel a little further to explore the vibrant shopping and culinary hub of Seminyak, or marvel at age-stained temples in the delightful neighbourhood of Ubud.
The villa is a 20-minute walk from the beach, with easy access to a plethora of elegant restaurants, and grungy clubs in the nearby district of Petitenget.
The trendy Batu Bolong (1.4km) offers a bounty of spots to surf and sunbathe, along with beachfront restaurants such as The Lawn and Old Man’s.
Whip up local delicacies inside the villa’s roomy and well-equipped kitchen, or treat your palate with flavourful cuisines from restaurants nearby. Savour creamy lattes at Deus Ex Machina Café (600 meters), binge on cakes and pastries at Monsieur Spoon (500 meters), or enjoy a hearty vegetarian fare at The Shady Shack (350 meters) — the choices are plenty.
You are sure to have an enriching time in Ubud (29.3km), where you can forage through its cascading rainforests. Soak in its rustic architecture, and spend a full day exploring the iconic UNESCO rice terraces. Don’t forget to also visit Ubud’s local market, a haven for hand-made souvenirs and colourful artefacts.
The island’s age-old shrines and historic sights remain a favourite for many. Tanah Lot Sea Temple (11.8 km) sits atop a giant rock, offering breathtaking landscapes of the sun going down. Taman Ayun Temple is 16 km away, and a regal temple of the Mengwi Empire. Uluwatu Temple is worth the hour-long drive. It watches over the region from the peak of an exalted cliff, leaving a striking first impression.

Please be informed that Bali island celebrates Nyepi (Silent) Day each year on the dates below. Nyepi Day is a day of absolute silence throughout the island and it is observed from 6 AM until 6 AM the next morning. No outdoor activities are allowed and there will be no check-in and check-out from properties on 11 March 2024, 29 March 2025 and 19 March 2026.
