If you seek the essence of Bali beachfront tropical luxury, this is it! Villa Melissa is a beachfront villa and has 30 meters of beach frontage, and three of its five bedrooms have expansive and unimpeded sea views. Nowhere in Bali is more beachfront than this!
There really is room to move around in to breath in that sea air, so ensure your bedroom windows are wide open and so you can experience the breeze flowing in from Indonesian Throughflow of the Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean. Floor space over two levels is more than 800 square meters and the garden and pool are a vast 2,500 square meters.
This undeniably luxurious villa in Canggu has had each space thoughtfully considered, both inside and out. From the huge seafront swimming pool, to the beautifully symmetrical entrance in the corridor. The bathrooms are spaces of absolute tranquillity, whilst the tropical flora that surround the property really create a harmony with the surrounding island's landscape.
During the daytime you will undoubtedly want to make the use of the garden space, so spread-out along the sun loungers, lawn area or Balinese Gazebos. The private swimming pool is somewhat distinctive, as it is ‘T-shaped’, with what is essentially two swimming pools merged together. If you’re eager to take this detox a step further, you are able to find a communal spa, gym and tennis court amongst the Estate’s grounds.

- The dark, sandy beach is not particularly good for swimming, but the huge pool is practically on the sand anyway!
- Beverage & grocery shopping is charged a grocery cost + 15% handling fee.

- You can request a variety of cultural activities, wine pre-order, and yoga/spa treatments for an additional cost.

About the surrounding area of Villa MelissaThe coastal area of Canggu is a traditional fishing region, where you can observe the rhythms of day-to-day village life in Bali. Watch the fishermen bring in their catch early in the mornings at Nelayen Beach and pick up some fresh lobsters, prawns and fish.
Though many of the beaches have dark sand, there are several gems that are famous for their great surfing and wonderful restaurants; including Berawa, Echo Beach and Pererenan. If you’re in the mood for some ‘extreme dining’, pay a visit to Lacalita Bar Y Cocina where you can watch your food being made in front of you, before you start sipping on a selection of spirits till the early hours of the morning.
For a change in scenery and for something a little more daring, a day trip to Deus ex Machina Temple of Enthusiasm is a requirement! Here you have everything from restaurants to skate ramps. This is a great chance you check out custom made motorbikes and then boogie-on-down in front of bands on the dancefloor.
If trekking is your thing, then you’ve come to the right place. There are organised trips up and around both Mount Agung and Mount Batur. Here you will experience some simply stunning scenery that you might have only heard of. Invest in some good walking/running shoes and explore a world like non other!

Best Suited For: All AgesWe suggest taking the family to The Canggu Club. This is a specialised club that has catered spaces for kids of all ages and has prepared adult suitable entertainment too. Most importantly though, there is a recently renovated mini-water park and vast selection of child friendly facilities.
Bali is ridden with natural beauty, but equally with historical sites of interest. What makes these temples more child friendly, is their flamboyant displays. Take a trip to Goa Gajah and witness Hindu sculptures and carvings like you’ve never seen before.
If Mum & Dad are looking for something a little more mellow, then spend an afternoon at Panama Kitchen & Pool. Allow the kids to enjoy the shallow swimming pool, whilst you put your feet up and nibble on some entrees & sip on some cocktails.
Bali is an incredible island! The kids won’t have ever seen anything like it…come to think of it, you won't have either!

Nyepi (Silent) Day
Please be informed that Bali island celebrates Nyepi (Silent) Day each year on the dates below. Nyepi Day is a day of absolute silence throughout the island and it is observed from 6 AM until 6 AM the next morning. No outdoor activities are allowed and there will be no check-in and check-out from properties on 22 March 2023.
