Designed for up to twelve guests, this single-storey villa is perfect for families or groups seeking a relaxed coastal getaway. The open-plan layout connects airy living spaces with tropical gardens, where floor-to-ceiling windows invite sunlight and sea breezes throughout. Decorated in soft, natural tones with terracotta tiles and wooden accents, the home exudes a sense of calm. Guests can gather in the spacious lounge with its pool table and wraparound veranda or enjoy freshly prepared meals crafted by the villa’s chef in the fully equipped kitchen.
The villa features five inviting bedrooms, four within the main house and one in a private garden suite. Two master bedrooms include canopy beds and elegant bathrooms, while the children’s bunk room adds a playful touch. Outside, a lush, tiered garden overlooks the ocean, complete with a private pool, shaded seating, and direct beach access. Just 3km from Weligama’s shops, surf schools, and restaurants, Ocean Haven is ideally located for exploring Sri Lanka’s Southern Province, from tea plantations and wildlife to historic coastal towns, all within easy reach of this tranquil seaside haven.
- The villa is fully staffed with a helpful team, including a highly regarded chef. While the staff and chef are included in your booking, the cost of meals will be charged separately based on your menu choices. This is to be paid locally in cash - which we recommend taking out prior to your arrival.
- One of the bedrooms is located within a separate garden suite, which offers privacy to the occupants. Please see the 'Features' tab for more information.
- Private access to the beach at the end of the garden via a 5m walk over the rocks, where the sea will come in over the sand at certain times of the year. At these times, you can still access the sea for a swim.
- If you wish to see more of the island, we recommend you bring a car or book a driver, though there are lots of beaches and amenities within walking distance of the home.
