Villa Lourina is a 17th-century Galician manor house set within two hectares of private land, featuring olive trees, wide lawns, and countryside views. Ideal for group getaways, it accommodates up to 18 guests across a spacious main house and a separate guest apartment located in the garden. The main house is spread over two floors, combining original stone architecture with warm, contemporary interiors - think antique fireplaces, timber beams, underfloor heating, and a grand dining room with piano.

The guest apartment offers additional privacy, with its own living room, kitchenette, double bedroom, bathroom, and sofa bed - perfect for a couple or small family. Outside, the saltwater pool, barbecue area, and peaceful terraces invite relaxed summer days, while the garden’s 600-year-old cork oak and spring-fed viewpoint add something truly special. Set in a quiet rural area near the Portuguese border, Villa Lourina is just 15 minutes from the historic town of Tui and 20 minutes from the coastal resorts of Baiona and Nigrán.

What Oliver loves...

  • The flexible layout with a separate guest house is perfect for large families or groups wanting a bit of extra privacy.
  • The two-hectare garden is full of character, with a saltwater pool, olive trees, and a centuries-old cork oak at the hilltop viewpoint.
  • A peaceful countryside setting within easy reach of both beaches and the Portuguese border - ideal for day trips in every direction.

What you should know

  • The saltwater pool is unfenced, so younger children should be supervised at all times.
  • Several bedrooms are arranged as connecting rooms, which works well for families but may not suit all adult groups.
  • Air conditioning is available only in the first-floor lounge and the guest house.
  • While the property sleeps up to 18 guests, note that two beds are trundles - better suited to children or teens.
