Peacefully tucked away at the backdrop of the Puig de Maria mountain is a most impressive 5-bedroom country house in a lovely location. Spreading out before you is a gorgeous rural landscape of fields, hillsides, olive, almond and palm trees, a perfect setting for an unforgettable family holiday.

Enviably located, in an extensive plot, welcoming and extremely well cared for both inside and out, the scene is set perfectly on arrival as you sweep in through the main gates to be greeted by an imposing façade of local stone and a lovely mature garden. Internally the décor is fresh and uncomplicated with a tasteful blend of antique and modern furnishings perfectly complementing the attractive neutral coloured beams throughout and the typical Mallorcan fabrics.

With living accommodation consisting of the main house, guesthouse and exterior garden room with walk-in wet room. The main house has all the items associated with modern-day living including flatscreen TV, TVs & Bose sound system, internet and air conditioning. You will find 2 x bedrooms in the main house, master bedroom with ensuite shower, a twin bedroom, communal bathroom also the lounge with comfortable sofas flowing into a fully equipped modern kitchen with table and chairs.

The guest house consists of 1 x double bedroom with flatscreen TV, a twin bedroom and shared bathroom, kitchenette and 1 x garden double bedroom with wet room. Here you will find an amazing BBQ area with wood-burning pizza oven, and charcoal-fired India tandoori oven perfect for trying out the local cuisine. This terrace area has a solarium and plunge pool for extra comfort and fun.

Fringed by extensive sun terraces, lawn garden, chill-out lounges, private swimming pool, with roman steps to allow easy access and bucolic views over the surrounding mountains and countryside. Offering covered chill-out areas, and sun decks provide areas in which to escape the humdrum of daily life. You are spoilt for choice for an ideal spot to have a cool drink whilst keeping an eye on younger and more active members of the family.

Pollensa - just 2.4 km away - Casa Dulcenia is located just outside the town of Pollensa, the eastern end of the Serra de Tramuntana. Pollensa is an enchanting Mallorcan town packed with ancient blonde stone architecture, Pollenca doesn’t feel like many of the other towns which have surrendered to tourism. Although tourists have long been attracted here, Pollensa has learned to accept and adapt to tourism without losing its soul.

Wander the streets that lead to the church to discover traditional outlets selling a range of foods, arts and crafts as well as cafes, restaurants and bars. The highlight of the week is the authentic and traditional market that occurs every Sunday morning. Get there early to secure the freshest fruit, vegetables, meat and fish.

The Calvari steps provide the best view of the local area but be warned that to get to the top; you have to climb 365 of them. However, the climb is worth it, and the views definitely do not disappoint from the top.

Puerto Pollensa just 8.7 km away, offers wonderful scenery, beautiful sandy beaches and a laid-back, friendly atmosphere, make Puerto Pollensa a favourite destination for many. With hotels on the seafront that still retain an old-fashioned air, having been built long before the concrete boom of the 1960s developments.

Today the town attracts mainly British and Madrileño families looking for something more than the hustle and bustle of the south coast resorts. With wonderful scenery, beautiful sandy beaches and a laid-back, friendly atmosphere, makes Puerto Pollensa a favourite destination for many.

Cala Sant Vincente just 8.9 km away is a small resort town in north-eastern Majorca, Spain. It consists of three small beaches, plus a few bars and restaurants catering to tourists. Located at one end of the town is the hypogeum of Cala Sant Vicente, perhaps the most spectacular hypogeum on Mallorca.

THE REGION

Pollensa, in the north of the island, is an ancient town of attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, lined with cafés, restaurants and bars, and is just a few kilometres from Port de Pollensa.

The town has several places of interest to visit, including the Roman bridge, signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use, and the Puig de Pollensa – a small mountain topped by a monastery just outside the town. Casa Dulcenia is a welcoming family retreat, and it has plenty of indoor and outdoor space ready for any kids to enjoy. The garden is huge! Kids can run around and enjoy games and picnics in this space, as well as making the most of the sun.

Additionally, there is a private swimming pool and plunge pool that is the perfect addition to this villa. If the weather isn’t optimal, then you have the added feature of satellite TV and the wi-fi being available for you to use. This can offer the kids some entertainment if it is needed. Kids will love the football goal posts and might even take on the adults!

Puerto Pollença has some beautiful beaches, and at some of them, you’ll find water sports available. This family-friendly and laid-back location in Mallorca has some lovely restaurants and activities ready for the family to experience and enjoy. With the use of public transport, you’ll be able to explore the nearby locations and find even more for the whole family to experience.

Alcudia Waterpark - Located in a prime area in Port de Alcudia and just a few meters away from the town centre. Covering an area of close to 40.000 square metres, there is a wide variety of water rides and attractions that will delight both young and old alike!

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €300 charged to client’s credit card by the owner before/upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

Departure time 10 am
End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Linen & towels included? Bed linen, bath and pool towels are included in the rental price.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Heating costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included in rental price.
Minimum stay 7 nights
Changeover day Saturday.
Pets welcome? Not allowed.
Smoking Allowed? Not permitted.
Pool heating charge? For those who require pool heating, there will be an additional charge of €45 per day (to be paid locally on arrival). Please note that like all heated pools, pool heating and water temperature are reliant on weather and outside temperatures.
Tax Balearic Eco Tourist Tax of €2.20 per person per night for over 16's is not included in the rental price and will need to be paid prior arrival via a link direct to the supplier.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, public liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
