The lovely Villa Rufina enjoys a fine location within walking distance of central Alcudia on Mallorca’s eastern coast. The much-loved town is the setting for this modern 2-bedroom holiday home with private pool, which is just perfect for a small family or group of friends.

Air-conditioned throughout, this comfortable villa is surrounded by an attractive garden where you will find sun loungers waiting for you, lined up beside the 8m x 4m swimming pool. You have a covered dining area on the terrace, along with a brick-built barbecue and pizza oven – a fine place to get together over a meal in the evenings.

The house is open-plan, with a kitchen area featuring a breakfast bar, oven, microwave and dishwasher. This flows through to the seating area with satellite TV and DVD, and then the dining room which leads you out to the terrace. The décor is fresh and modern, and the house gets plenty of natural light.

A bathroom with walk-in shower and bidet accompanies the two bedrooms, one double and one twin. The house retains the traditional feel of a Mallorcan home, with lots of extra home comforts to make your stay even more special.

You can stroll into Alcudia and enjoy what is thought of as one of the island’s most beautiful towns. You have shops and restaurants as close as 400m away, and the golden sands of the beach are not far either – the beach stretches for several kilometres, so there will always be a new spot to discover. Attractions such as the Alcúdia Hidropark make a great day out for the children, while the adults might fancy checking out Alcanada Golf Club or perusing the street markets for local crafts and gifts.

Just along the coast, Puerto de Pollença and Cala Sant Vicenc have more great beaches and stunning scenery, so be sure to make the most of your time in this breathtaking region.

Alcudia is one of the most visited destinations in Majorca, with its history, charm and gothic revival architecture. It has plenty of magnificent, scenic sandy beaches for you to explore stretching several kilometres giving your party ample space to explore, some even offer great places to snorkel (not all of the beaches that can provide this activity will have the equipment to hire).

For the families or the kids at heart, there is the Alcudia Hidropark with a water golf course, water slides and pools. You may also pursue the streets of Alcudia for their open-air street markets and sample the food they have to offer.

Alcudia is not the only stunning place to visit nearby, you have Cala Sant Vicenc – home to three beautiful beaches, as well as Pollença just along the coast. Pollença is an alluring town, at the base of the Tramuntana mountains, which is the largest natural reserve on the island, well known for its beauty and scenery. It was recently declared a World Heritage site, and the mountain range offers spectacular views and is a wonderful destination for hikers, cyclists and even bird watchers.

Pollença is also rich in history with the famous Calvari steps which are a 365-step stairway that leads up to the chapel on the top of the hill known as Calvary. It is also home to a Romanesque 19th-century bridge that is shrouded in mystery, as no one knows for sure its origin.  

There is so much to explore, experience and take in as you visit the nearby towns, there truly is something for everyone in this spectacular part of Spain.

THE REGION

The vibrant northern town of Alcúdia is truly a year-round location, offering life, history and culture throughout all seasons. Lying just one kilometre inland from the famous holiday resort of Port d’Alcúdia, it’s the ideal place to taste rich Mallorcan heritage without having to stray too far off the beaten path.

The pedestrian area offers inviting restaurants, cafés with beautiful terraces and cosy backyards, handicraft shops, stylish boutiques and Mallorcan specialities. Stroll by medieval houses, the proud town hall and the so-called Casas Señoriales, the majestic houses of past nobility. Here and there, you get a glimpse of one of the big, shady patios and time, and again you reach the outer rim of the town wall.

The whole family can really enjoy some good times together at Villa Rufina. Just the right size for a family of four, it has wonderful gardens which are enclosed with hedges and netting for added security.

It’s a short walk into Alcúdia, where there’s plenty to see at the marina, and the golden beaches are a must-visit. Back at the villa, the barbecue gives a great excuse to get together at dinner, plus there’s Wi-Fi and satellite TV to keep them connected too.

There is a beautiful sandy beach nearby that will offer a fun family day out or a great place to relax to sunbathe and catch the sun. Alcudia provides a lot for the kids and adults alike so that you can explore the beautiful towns together as well as experience new things here in Mallorca.

Security deposit £200 charged to client’s credit card before arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Linen & towels included? Bed linen and bath towels are included in the rental price.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included in rental price.
