The Alcúdia Market, a lively spot to experience local culture, is a short walk from the town center. Open every Tuesday and Sunday from 8 am to 1:30 pm, the market features stalls selling artisan goods, crafts, and fresh produce like watermelons and strawberries.
For wine lovers, the Bodega Games Ribot winery is just over 30 minutes from Alcúdia. This winery spans 13 hectares of vineyards and also produces its own honey. Using a mix of local grapes, Bodega Games Ribot offers tours tailored to each visitor’s preferences.
The area is also known for its historic Catholic sites, such as Sant Jaume’s Church, built in the 1300s under King James I. Though it was rebuilt in a Neo-Gothic style in 1893 after storm damage, the church retains its impressive high ceilings and notable artifacts. Located just a five-minute drive from Alcúdia’s center, it’s a must-see for those interested in the area’s religious history.

Lying just one kilometre inland from the famous holiday resort of Port d’Alcúdia, it’s the ideal place to taste rich Mallorcan heritage without having to stray too far off the beaten path.
The pedestrian area offers inviting restaurants, cafés with beautiful terraces and cosy backyards, handicraft shops, stylish boutiques and Mallorcan specialities. Stroll by medieval houses, the proud town hall and the so-called Casas Señoriales, the majestic houses of past nobility. Here and there, you get a glimpse of one of the big, shady patios and time, and again you reach the outer rim of the town wall.
