Enjoy a magical stay in the mesmerising Villa Barcares! Perched right on the coast, this home offers enchanting vistas across the Balearic Sea, access to the shores and equally gorgeous exteriors and interiors to offer much-needed relaxation and fun throughout your getaway!

This newly renovated villa presents a home that looks as if it was plucked from a fairytale. Its structure oozes a unique character which may seem peculiar; however, once you make your way around the exterior, you will find that the shape cleverly exploits the majestic surroundings. Indoors you will find stylish yet homely spaces to enjoy one another's company or find some blissful isolation!

With a floor-to-ceiling patio door allowing plenty of sunlight and the option of a gentle breeze, the lovely living room presents a plump settee and chairs for snuggly moments at home after or before days of adventure! Switch on the fireplace at night for a tender touch to memorable evenings. Open-planned, space moves around to a sleek, fully-equipped kitchen, where cooking will be a dream, and you can serve delicious dishes on a charming dining table!

Four bedrooms accommodate eight travellers, so whether you're a family or a group of friends, you'll be able to find a suitable place to rest. The villa features a main house, consisting of three double bedrooms, two of which share a family bathroom and one boasting convenient en-suite facilities. Villa Barcares also offers a studio, complete with its kitchenette and lounge, bathroom and its double bedroom, giving you even more exclusivity upon your stay!

Outdoors, step from rooms onto terraces to drink in darling views of the sea. Whether you want to relax on cushioned sun-loungers or enjoy alfresco dining, you are sorted! You don't need a pool as the villa sits beautifully off the waters.

Villa Barcares sits on the outskirts of Alcudia, a wonderful and welcoming region in the north of the island. The town sits between two outstanding bays and thus offers promenades, bays and marinas and most importantly, beaches. Your location means you have peace when at home yet remains within walking distance of the main part of town!

In the town, you will find a supermarket, stores and an open-air market, a true taste of Mallorcan heritage and the best place to grab souvenirs. The town has odes of its history in its classic architecture and narrow streets that lead to antique squares and roads. The town offers some of the finest Spanish cuisines has to offer, so have a traditional meal in any of the restaurants as well as infusions of cuisine and twists on classics!

The Port of Alcudia is a lively and vibrant part of the vicinity. Here, more restaurants will keep your bellies full up! The major attraction is, of course, the beach, so waste no time in getting the sand between your toes on more than 3.5 kilometres of shorefront. You can rent furniture for your stay, alongside nibbles and cocktails from nearby cafes, bars and pubs or simply enjoy the refreshing waters of the incredibly blue sea.

THE REGION

The vibrant northern town of Alcúdia is truly a year-round location, offering life, history and culture throughout all seasons. Lying just one kilometre inland from the famous holiday resort of Port d’Alcúdia, it’s the ideal place to taste rich Mallorcan heritage without having to stray too far off the beaten path.

The pedestrian area offers inviting restaurants, cafés with beautiful terraces and cosy backyards, handicraft shops, stylish boutiques and Mallorcan specialities. Stroll by medieval houses, the proud town hall and the so-called Casas Señoriales, the majestic houses of past nobility. Here and there, you get a glimpse of one of the big, shady patios and time, and again you reach the outer rim of the town wall.

Relax with televisions, multiple sofas and seats indoors and outside, loungers and dining tables indoors or outside for alfresco meals!

Enjoy the expansive of the outdoor area, where kids can play by the sea, supervised by adults on comfy seating. Dip your toes in or if you're feeling braver, get right in! The villa splits up the main house and a studio apartment, self-contained and offering a getaway within a getaway, perfect for an additional couple or older children with its double bedroom. The main house offers three more double bedrooms.

Introduce children to the delights of tapas dining and paella dishes in the romantic town of Alcudia. Away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, you can enjoy the authentic taste of Alcudian daily life. If you want more of a selection and a more buzzing area to keep the family entertained, head over to the Port of Alcudia. You can dine on everything from Asian foods to steaks, burgers and curries, as well as popular food chains and traditional pubs.

Alcudia Beach is the ideal place to enjoy the sand and sea. The white sand surface is safe for frolicking and digging, and the waters are shallow and calm for some metres out so any age of youngster can have a splash. The beach is monitored by lifeguards for extra security and the usual facilities such as toilets and changing rooms will help you remain fresh and sorted.

A kiddies park will see your tots socialise and have fun, whilst those who are just about ready for the waters can have a dreamy voyage of the coast on kayaks and paddle-boats, and for the older, more experienced seafarer, water-sports on motorised and non-motorised equipment are available from multiple vendors.

Security deposit £200 payable by credit or debit card before the arrival and to be refunded in full subject to a damage inspection on departure

End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Linen & towels included? Bed linen and bath towels are included in the rental price. Pool towels not included in the rental price, extra €7.50 per person per week.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included in rental price.
