Casa Capitan definitely has the wow factor! It has been sensationally refurbished and is now a top-notch, stunning holiday villa with six bedrooms, fabulous living spaces and gorgeous outside space. The villa enjoys a prestigious location on the exclusive urbanisation of Puerto Del Capitan, just a few minutes drive from Benahavis, Marbella and Puerto Banus. It is private, spacious and beautifully designed. Casa Capitan looks grand and inviting. Its architecture incorporates touches of characterful Andalusian essence which belies the trendy, chic, part Scandinavian, part industrial furnishings inside. Think ultra cool, think handpicked, forget traditional wardrobes, think trendy freestanding clothing rails, think striking black framed everything. This villa oozes style and luxury. Its complete refurbishment is of the highest luxurious standards with inspired decor, glass features, Italian porcelain terraces, a fabulous garden and a new swimming pool.

The magnificent Casa Capitan is built over three levels with a living space and bedrooms on the lower level together with the gardens and pool, the kitchen-diner with a small living space on the first floor and the other bedrooms scattered between the first and second floors. Guests with bedrooms on the lower ground floor have the luxury of opening their trendy doors and taking early morning swims or enjoying a morning cup of coffee on the terrace. The pool is wonderful and is surrounded by a lush lawn, gardens and the terrace. The loungers and parasols are of the best quality, beautiful to complement the pool and terrace. Alfresco dining can be taken on the terrace or above on the spacious first floor balcony.

With a minimalist design, its Scandinavian and industrial touches and fantastic use of glass, the interiors are stunning. The lower living space features sumptuous cream sofas adorned with black scatter cushions, the ideal place to chill. Above, the chef’s dream of a kitchen is very striking in black to match the door and window frames and with a dazzling white worktop. The appliances, including a wine fridge, are fantastic. Dinner can be enjoyed inside or outside on the balcony. The spacious balcony enjoys luxurious lounge furniture as well as its alfresco dining and a barbecue.

What you should know…

  • The bedrooms on the lower ground floor have direct access to the terrace and pool so are not ideal for young children who might be tempted to try an early morning swim!
  • The golf courses in the area are phenomenal and golf fans will be in heaven in this part of Spain!

Casa Capitan is located in the exclusive and tranquil urbanisation of Puerto Del Capitan, close to the village of Benahavis, inland from Marbella and Estapona. It is minutes from amazing golf courses, stunning beaches and the entertainment of the upscale resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus. Benahavis, the village, might be small but it is home to many fabulous restaurants and is known as the ‘Gastronomic Corner of Andalucia’. It is home to Sabor, a Malaga catering school. Many of the dishes in the restaurants are Spanish but with a modern twist. One of the most typical dishes is marinated pork fillet following a very traditional recipe but you will also find fresh fish from Estapona and Marbella and cuisine from many corners of the world.

The Costa del Sol has 23 stunning, sandy beaches along its 27kms of coastline. Close to the villa you will discover the beautiful San Pedro Beach, Playa Fontanilla, Playa Naguelese, Playa Cabopino, Playa de la Rada and Playa del Padron in Estapona. With 325 sunny days, the climate is fantastic and perfect for wonderful beach days. Many of the beaches enjoy fabulous watersports and groovy beach bars.

Marbella is renowned for its Michelin-starred restaurants, fabulous golf courses, luxury yacht marinas, designer boutiques and stunning golden sandy beaches. Plaza de los Naranjos, the old part of Marbella is utterly charming with its gorgeous Arabic characteristics and balconies adorned with colourful bougainvillea and other flowers. The roads are lined with unique, friendly local shops offering souvenirs, olive oil, local pottery and lace. The stunning Plaza de la Iglesia often hosts buzzy markets and concerts.

Puerto Banus, designed and built in 1970 by local property developer Jose Banus, is fantastic for shopping, dining and star spotting. Again, it is a playground for the rich with plenty of Ferraris and luxury yachts to admire. The luxury Sala Beach and Ocean Club Marbella are just two of the upmarket beach clubs featuring delicious cocktails, flowing champagne, gastronomic delights and attentive staff waiting at your whim.

Casa Capitan is perfect for a family holiday. It is very spacious and the pool is gorgeous. The gardens are also lovely. The Costa del Sol beaches are only 7km away, just minutes in the car.

San Pedro Beach is especially wonderful though many enjoy watersports and fabulous bars and cafes. The boulevard in San Pedro Alcantara offers exciting playgrounds with swings, wooden horses, padded hills to climb and a zipline. The wonderful architectural bridge has curves to match the waves and mountain scenery. It’s a very popular place for cycling. Happy Days Costa del Sol, at the Marbella end of the boulevard, has an ice-skating rink and a 9-hole mini golf course. The Funny Beach Marbella amusement park offers jet skiing, flyboarding, go-karting and bouncy castles, pedal boats, a Wave X ramp and inflatable water rides, which are fantastic for thrill-seeking children.

Selwo Aventura, Estepona, offers children the chance to enjoy wild nature on an expedition through different lands. They will meet lions, giraffes, hippos, zebras, leopards, meerkats, lynx, elephants and pandas. There are also adventure activities for thrillseekers, including the zip wire, hanging bridges and archery, as well as the Serengeti Safari, a 4x4 truck ride around the Great Lakes Reserve.

Biopark, Fuengirola is a zoo where animals live side-by-side, recreating their natural habitats. There are more than 200 species, most of them endangered or at risk of being endangered. Biopark promotes the survival of the different species, including the Sumatra Tiger, of which there are only 300, or you may see Roloway monkeys, the only ones in Spain.

Benalmadena is another family favourite. The beaches are fantastic. Visitors can take boat trips for dolphin and whale watching. There is a cable car, and the Bil Bil Castle is fascinating. You can walk through transparent tunnels in the Sea Life Centre or watch feeding demonstrations.

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €3,000 charged to client’s credit card before arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time 4 pm.
Departure time 10 am.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Heating costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Linen & towels included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Pool towels included? Not available.
End of stay cleaning included? Extra €500, payable to Oliver's Travels with balance payment. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning , laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal will be charged against the security deposit.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included in the rental price.
Minimum stay 5 nights during low season. 7 nights during other periods.
Changeover day Flexible.
Pets welcome? Not permitted.
Smoking Allowed? Smoking & Vaping are not permitted.
Pool heating charge? For those who require pool heating, there will be an additional charge of €400 per week (to be paid to OT prior to travel). Please note that like all heated pools, pool heating and water temperature are reliant on weather and outside temperatures.

Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, loss of personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
Stag & Hen Do's Allowed? Weddings, stag/hen parties and any special events are not allowed.
Other Ts and Cs A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking at this property (or full payment if booking within 12 weeks of departure).
