Located in a quiet neighbourhood of Barcelona, just 10 minutes from the famous World Heritage monuments of La Sagrada Familia and the Hospital de Sant Pau and 20 minutes from the city centre, Casa Cartella is a stunning villa, sleeping up to 16 guests in 8 magnificent bedrooms. Casa Cartella is beautiful and elegant, offering a huge amount of entertainment space inside and out. There is a games room, living spaces, bedroom suites, various terraces, a swimming pool, a hot tub and a stunning garden. The styling is a total mix, flamboyant in part, luxurious in part, totally unique and certainly fascinating. There is a wonderful combination of exquisite antiques and modern, avant-garde furnishings together, with some contemporary styling and luxury soft furnishings. The result is highly impressive. When arriving at the sensational Casa Cartella, you enter an impressive entrance hall with a majestic marble staircase leading to the upper floors. The entrance hall gives you a first glimpse of the wonder and fascination that awaits. Two enormous, exclusive 18th-century Chinese vases and bronze lamps adorn this impressive space. Most of the ground floor space is home to incredible games and living spaces, designed by one of the most prestigious decorators in Barcelona. Your holiday group will spend considerable time here enjoying the table tennis, football and pool tables or perhaps a game of cards or just relaxing on the sumptuous sofas watching the huge television or enjoying drinks from the bar. There is also a quiet reading area, something for everyone!
The eight bedrooms are spread across all three floors and are totally unique. You will find individual air conditioning, safe boxes, televisions, sofas, boudoirs and closets, together with extravagant furnishings. Five of the bedrooms enjoy en-suite bathrooms, and the others share family bathrooms. Most of the bedrooms boast joined single beds, while some contain large and luxurious double beds.

Barcelona is a fabulous city offering fabled architectural treasures spanning more than 2000 years, a mastery of gastronomy, a famous football team, family entertainment, an incredible nightlife and an enchanting seaside. With famous whimsical Gaudi masterpieces such as the Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo and Parc Guell, towering temple columns, ancient city walls, subterranean stone corridors, tranquil plazas and soaring cathedrals, the city is intriguing, beautiful and best seen on foot. Barcelona has long inspired artists, including Pablo Picasso and Joan Miro, both of whom have major museums devoted to their works in the city. Football fans may head directly to visit Camp Nou or a FC Barcelona match. Youngsters may prefer the zoo, aquarium or the Poble Espanyol.
You will enjoy a feast in Barcelona with incredible seafood, cured ham and fabulous delicacies, all served in the city’s captivating settings. Las Rambla enjoys a wonderful market where you can taste delicious food and wines and alfresco dining. Many bars serve the famous local Estrella as well as delicious sangria and cocktails. The sun-drenched Barceloneta Beach is a popular spot where you can enjoy paddleboarding, sunset cruises, waterside dining and impressive sand sculptors. The promenade is a delight with alfresco wining and dining, street entertainers and families having a wonderful time. The 4.5km stretch of sandy bays along the shoreline make Barcelona the perfect city break with a side of beach. Nova Icaria Beach and Bogatell Beach offer a more peaceful feel.
The Montjuic hilltop is close to the city offering endless exploring, botanic and sculpture gardens, excellent museums, fantastic art galleries, an old castle and breathtaking panoramic views.

Best Suited For: All AgesFamilies are very welcome in Barcelona. There are so many interesting and fun attractions including the outstanding beaches. It is easy to get around the city, with the open-top buses being very popular.
Barcelona Zoo, located in the Parc de la Ciutadella, allows visitors to almost touch the animals thanks to open fences. It was created in 1892 and is now home to roughly 2000 animals of 300 different species. It also boasts more than 1300 trees, plants and 332 different botanical varieties.
Barcelona Aquarium is one of Europe's most important recreational and educational marine centres with 21 aquariums, 11000 animals of 450 species, an 80 metre long underwater tunnel, six million litres of water and an immense Oceanarium. It offers a fantastic educational and fun visit.
At the highest point of the city, you will find Tibidabo, a family amusement park. It is over one hundred years old offering an interesting and amusing day out.
Children also enjoy The Magic Fountain of Montjuic which first spouted on 19 May 1929 during the Great Universal Exhibition. It delivers a spectacular display of light, colour and water acrobatics along to music every Thursday to Sunday during the summer months and on Fridays and Saturdays during the winter. Also built for the Universal Exhibition is Poble Espanyol, a life-size reproduction of different Spanish villages. It is very close to the Magic Fountain. Visitors enjoy the architecture, the crafts, contemporary art, shopping and the food.
The whimsical creations of Gaudi are also a huge family attraction. Park Guell is amazing and the Sagrada Familia just has to be done when in Barcelona.
If your children are desperate for some theme park fun, you can head to Port Aventura. It is made up of the Universal Studios Port Aventura theme park, the Costa Caribe water park, the Hotel El Paso and Hotel Port Aventura, a Beach Club and the Ferrari Land Park. Universal Studios boasts five themed area with exciting rides, colourful shows, parades and plenty of restaurants and bars. Popular cartoon characters such as Woody Woopecker, Popeye and the Pink Panther are hosts in the park.

| Other Ts and Cs | Guests are allowed to use the pool and hot tub Monday to Friday from 9 am to 10:30 pm, and on the weekends from 9:30 amd to 10:30 pm. The housekeeper will enter only the garden area at these times to open and close the pool and hot tub. |

Everything was simply amazing!
To summarise briefly, your expectations will be met with this villa and hosts. The villa Is located in a beautiful, calm neighbourhood. Very close to the centre and other attractions/parks. You can easily find supermarkets and restaurants around with amazing food. The villa itself is stunning! An incredible games room, spacious rooms mostly with an en suit, and all the amenities you may need from Bluetooth speakers, to TVs in every room. Everything was clean and spotless, and the hosts had maintained great communication with us to accommodate our needs. The villa also has a beautiful garden with a great sized swimming pool and a hot tub which was super easy to use! Lastly, I’d like to thank the hosts (including the arranged catering, which was phenomenal) for going the extra mile and making our trip worthwhile. Everything was simply amazing! Hope to be back in the future!

Stunning property
Stunning property that is incredibly well equipped and really well managed.We had a brilliant stay, it is a little distance into the centre of the city and main attractions, but very easy to manage via the local taxi app. To find a house this size and with its own private pool etc is so rare so we were very happy overall with it definitely would recommend.

The villa is just amazing! We loved the decoration, each room has amazing objects and details. The swimming pool and jaccuzzi are perfect especially for Barcelona center. The main play room has a lot of volume and we enjoyed it a lot!

AMAZING villa
Casa Cartella is an AMAZING villa - the most beautiful place I have ever stayed in! The villa is enormous and is filled with great amenities including sun loungers, pool, jacuzzi, table football, ping pong and beautifully laid out. Each bedroom is unique, very comfortable and well decorated. The bathrooms are modern and each guest has 2 body and one face towel each. The dining room is perfect for large groups. Imanol is a very attentive host, very quick to reply to any queries and always tries to be accommodating of any requests. Olga is the cleaning lady who was also wonderful and who goes out of her way to help with anything during your stay. The check in and out process was easy thanks to both of their fantastic availability. There is a tube stop only 10 minutes away from which we were able to get into town very easily. Overall, an amazing place which has made our stay in Barcelona completely unforgettable and extremely comfortable and luxurious. Thankyou so much!

My company stayed in the Villa as a hub for exploring Barcelona for our yearly retreat. Wow, it was such an amazing experience. Olga the house cleaner was absolutely fantastic. Her recommendations and responsiveness were above what any of us expected. The Villa itself was just like the photos and more! We could not have picked a better place to stay. It was just far away enough from the city center to feel like you are staying in a real neighborhood without tourists and close enough to explore the city. Imanol was also very helpful giving us a full tour of the property going over every detail. Staying at the Villa really made the trip for our team. We will never forget it and I would highly recommend any group to stay there if they have the chance!

This is the PERFECT getaway spot!
Coming in with 14 guys on a bachelor trip we thought we’d be short on space. When we walked in, we felt like we were in a mansion. The game room and the terrace is where we spent most of our time at the house. If you have a big group of people this is he perfect place to stay. It’s not too far from everything and it’s in a very safe and quiet part of Barcelona. The hosts were extremely friendly and helped us whenever we needed it. This is the PERFECT getaway spot!
