Designed and constructed to exacting high standards, evidence of the meticulous attention to detail can be seen in the quality of the wood, ceramics and décor where a sympathetic blend of both traditional and modern materials creates a welcoming family home very much in harmony with its rural surroundings. Great care has been taken to retain vaulted ceilings, open fireplaces, ancient beams and original stone floors, to name but a handful of the distinctive features. Large rooms throughout offer ample space and there is a seemingly endless choice of quiet corners and shaded terraces to seek out with a drink and a good book.
Perhaps the highlight of this exceptional property is the outdoor saltwater swimming pool, where near 360º degree views can be enjoyed, and that's not to mention the heated indoor spa pool! In addition to the manicured lawns, mature trees and shrubs that grace the surrounding gardens, there are extensive orchards spreading down the hillside and to the sides of this imposing finca, providing total seclusion and solitude for anyone staying here, which also makes it the ideal 'venue' for large family gatherings or for anyone wishing to celebrate a special birthday, anniversary or wedding. Guests are welcome to plan a range of events or celebrations at Hacienda Buena Vista, and the owners are more than happy to help you do this!
When your roaming instincts get the better of you, the choices are vast. Days out can be spent in nearby Seville, down on the coast in Huelva and even over the border into Portugal, all can be reached within an hour by car.
- Hacienda Buena Vista is located off the beaten track, so please note not everybody will be able to communicate in English. It is reccommended to take a phrase book and a map with you
- The swimming pool is not fenced, so children should be supervised at all times
- The local restaurants and tapas bars primarily serve up traditional Spanish dishes, so those looking for international cuisine might have to wait till they visit nearby Seville!

Wedding Reception
The villa benefits from an air-conditioned or fully opened events room, with a maximum seated capacity of 150. The front terrace can host 250-300 seated guests, or the rear terrace (surrounding the pool area) has space for 100 seated guests and space for 300 guests standing with scattered bar tables. The glass room can be fully opened, which will provide free movement between the front and rear terraces. Dancing is possible in the events rooms or on the front terrace. Here, there is a dedicated dance area that is always kept clear for the first dance and evening party. Dancing can go on until whatever time is desired, as there are no music restrictions here.
Wedding Ceremony
There is a church, located roughly 1km from the property, where couples can choose for the ceremony to be held (although couples must be Catholic to have a ceremony here). The church will seat a maximum of 150 guests with further standing space. Additionally, the Priest is happy to have a guest English-speaking Priest if required. This can be arranged by the wedding planner. The owners of Hacienda Buena Vista can also arrange for blessings to be held at the property.
Additional Fees for Events
The venue charges an additional event fee on top of the rental to be paid direct, please enquire for further details. There also may be a small charge for all non-resident house guests.

The owners can recommend a wedding planner, or guests are free to use their own if desired.

The venue can arrange catering or suggest a trusted caterer.
Wedding Packages
The venue can provide furniture, extra cleaning and marquees on request, please enquire for details. The venue wants you to enjoy the wedding of your dreams, so every package is different. There is no set wedding package.
Where to stay
Hacienda Buena Vista can accommodate 24 guests, with an additional 11 guests on supplementary beds in some of the bedrooms. Other guests may stay in the nearby market town of Aracena, where there are several hotels available to suit a range of budgets. The owners are happy to suggest hotels if needed, and they have a good relationship with a local bus company that can transfer guests from Aracena to the venue and back.
Venue Accessibility
There is complimentary parking on-site. There is limited accessibility via public transportation; guests may need to share rides or taxis. The venue can make suggestions. The venue is fully accessible.
Venue Back-Up
There is a lot of indoor space should there be bad weather.
Wedding Suppliers
The venue has an excellent list of suppliers, though you are also welcome to use your own suppliers. The list includes wedding cars, romeria carts, horse-drawn carriages, florists, photographers, DJs, live music, flamenco singers/dancers, instrumentalists and wedding planners.
Flexibility on Duration
There is flexibility through weddings, which usually have a minimum 3-night stay. Please enquire for details.
Children
Children are welcome, but the venue does not offer supervised childcare.
Security Measures
There is limited security measures in place, guests are responsible for their belongings.
Noise Restrictions
There are no noise restrictions. Parties can carry on late at night.

Please let us know if you would like to see photographs from other weddings at the venue or a brochure. The venue is available for other events with the same numbers and restrictions. Weddings can be held at any time of the year at Hacienda Buena Vista, but the start and end times may be restricted based on the weather of the season.
Please note that any event rental may be subject to additional charges, venue hire fees and to a higher security deposit, which will be in addition to any published rental rates and fees.
All events are on request only and subject to prior agreement from the owner, who reserves the right to refuse all events without their prior authorisation.
