Offering an abundance of natural and contemporary charm, Juniper House is a newly renovated stone villa with four bedrooms in the idyllic village of Temnica. Located in the stunning Karst region and named with the poetry of one of the region’s greatest poets, Srečko Kosovel, in mind, Juniper House evokes the heady and intoxicating scent of the juniper tree, a well-known sight in this beautiful rural heartland of Slovenia. Featuring a private swimming pool, a charming garden and unforgettable views of the Adriatic Sea, up to ten guests can enjoy unwinding in harmony with nature in this picturesque holiday home.

A dip in the pool in the early morning sunshine is the most refreshing way to start your day. There are plenty of sun loungers on the poolside terrace, perfect for a morning spent admiring the panoramic countryside views with a cup of freshly brewed coffee or relaxing with a good book. The landscaped garden is inspired by the Karst region and provides plenty of space for the family to rest and play. The outdoor space of Juniper House also features a traditional loggia, enhancing the villa’s distinctive charm and providing a lovely, shaded shelter for everyone to enjoy. There is a dining area on the balcony where you can gather your loved ones for a memorable meal at sunset.

Inside the villa, a modern, well-appointed kitchen on the ground floor provides the ideal space to prepare some of the amazing local produce you have discovered whilst wandering through the local villages. There is an adjacent utility room with laundry facilities and a modern bathroom. The kitchen leads seamlessly to a wonderful open plan space with a traditional dining area and a comfortable lounge. Here you will find a fireplace, where you can relax and chat all night with a glass of the regional wine. A large, flat-screen TV also allows for a cosy movie night in.

Juniper House can accommodate eight guests in four double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. One of the bedrooms is a connecting room. The bedroom furnishings are stylish and understated, with each room benefitting from gorgeous natural light. Two bedrooms feature ceilings with exposed wooden beams, while one of the rooms leads to a pretty Venetian balcony at the front of the villa. Two comfortable sofa beds are also available in the villa for two additional guests.

The villa’s location in the enchanting village of Temnica showcases the unique beauty of the Karst region in all its serene glory.
