Villa Longo is a picturesque vacation spot on the Cascais coast near the charming beach town of Ericeira in Portugal. It is located just 1 km away from one of the best surfing spots in Europe, Ribeira D’Ilhas, making it perfect for surf enthusiasts. Even beginners can surf here, and there are plenty of surf schools to choose from.
The nearby Praia da Foz do Lizandro is a family-friendly beach with shallow pools that are safe for children. Ericeira offers cliff walks (options for all ages) with breathtaking ocean views and delicious seafood at traditional restaurants like Tik Tak and Tasca da Fonte Boa das Nabos (great for vegetarians). For a more modern cafe experience, Lento-Monjo is highly recommended.
If you want to venture out of Ericeira, take a day trip to Sintra, a gorgeous town with castles, palaces, and impressive architecture. With its array of attractions, Sintra has something to offer for both adults and children.
