Comporta is surrounded by rice paddies, the ocean, sand dunes and pine forests. It's a unique place where you can connect with nature and live in the moment. Comporta has a remarkable diversity of natural systems with long stretches of beach, windswept dunes, scenic pine forests, salt marshes and rice paddies which become a vibrant green in June. The region is also characterized by rice fields and its main attraction, the Comporta beach: 20 kilometres of uninterrupted white sand, a beach lover’s paradise.
