Quinta do Panascal is one of the most iconic wineries in the area and can be found less than half an hour away from the centre of the region. This establishment was first founded in 1992 and has continued to attract a selection of avid guests who are looking to discover more about the complex world of wine production. Guests can also embark on a detailed self-guided tour, where they will have the chance to marvel at an assortment of traditional wine-making practices. Then, you will be asked to sample an exquisite range of port wines, giving you a true taste of this bustling and legacy-defining industry.
The Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Remedies is one of the most significant religious landmarks throughout Duoro and is a must-see attraction for any adventurous traveller. This remarkable building is the national monument of the city of Lamego and is based at the very top of Mount St Stephen. As such, guests must climb at least 600 steps in order to explore every aspect of this outstanding landmark. The Duoro International Park is situated around 2 hours away from the centre of the region.
If you wish to explore a range of tourist hotspots in quick succession, a trip on the InterRegional train is an ideal way to do so. This train follows a deeply historic route that works to exemplify all of the significant landmarks that this region has to offer. Previously, this route was built to transport native wines from Porto to Pocihno, allowing guests to enjoy a truly detailed three-hour trip, which travels through 20 tunnels and across 30 bridges. Fantastic house with stunning views
uper spacious rooms with private bathrooms, spacious living room open to the kitchen, perfect for family activities - especially considering the view of the pool and valley and river. The host was extremely helpful. Attentive and caring, and they have a wide range of amenities available, such as meals, wine and food available upon request. We will be back again

It's a fantastic House for your Douro holidays. The house is beautiful, modern, efficient, clean, welcoming and large enough to accommodate 6 couples in privacy. From the wines available for purchase and private meals to the location and incredible views, it can't get any better. Our family loved Casa and Pinhão. We are a family that likes five-star hotels, but we are so in love with this Casa.
