Villa Zagalo is a stunning luxury villa, in Vilamoura. This holiday home is in the perfect location as it is within walking distances of local amenities, the marina and the beach, and is adjacent to a golf course. The property’s location is certainly part of its appeal, but the villa itself will stun you as well! It has been beautifully decorated and furnished, and its exterior has been well kept and is an excellent place to spend your free time.
The ground floor has a spacious living room which is fully air conditioned. Here there are large sofas, with a Smart Television with Netflix capabilities. Everyone can be entertained during a free evening with a movie of choice as the living room invites you to relax and rest with warm colours and comfortable seating. The dining area has a large dining table which is perfect for when the weather is less than ideal, as there is an additional dining table outdoors. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen, with all the necessities to ensure cooking is made easy for you.
If you explore the lower floor, you’ll find some amazing features of the villa. You have access to a home gym, perfect for those of your guests who still want to work out whilst away. There is a shower and Turkish bath also on the lower floor, so you don’t have to go back up to your en-suite to get cleaned up after your work out. Additionally, there is a chill-out zone with sofas, a pool table and a bar, making this floor the perfect location for having a pleasant and fun evening with your guests.
There are four bedrooms, one on the ground floor and three on the first floor. The bedroom on the ground floor has twin beds and an en suite bathroom. With direct access to the garden, you’ll get plenty of natural light in this room. All the bedrooms are simple in design, with beautiful colours and comfortable beds: the three bedrooms on the first floor have double beds. Each of the bedrooms on the first floor also have en-suite bathrooms with a shower. These rooms have balcony’s where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the golf course and your private pool.
From the living room, you can exit out into the garden, where you’ll find further selections of seating arrangements. You can lounge on the sunbeds, relax on the outdoor sofas, or enjoy your meals al fresco at the outdoor dining table. The sun loungers are at the top end of your private pool, and there is a jacuzzi also in the garden! There is a patio with the dining table and a BBQ.
What you should know…
- The villa has air conditioning in all the bedrooms, to help you combat the heat and have a restful night’s sleep
- For an additional fee, the swimming pool can be heated
- We recommend hiring a car if you wanted to explore more of Portugal at your own convenience – there is one parking space at the property
- There are two twin beds on the lower ground floor, allowing up to 10 guests, but these two beds are in an open room instead of a bedroom

About the surrounding area of Villa ZagaloVilla Zagalo is in the prime location of Vilamoura, where there are excellent beaches and plenty of activities to get involved in. Vilamoura is a popular location with tourists, so naturally it’s a family-friendly holiday spot. Depending on the type of holiday you’re looking for will affect where you want to visit! But you will find something for everyone in and around Vilamoura!
With beautiful golden sand beaches, and crystal-clear waters, the beaches at Vilamoura are widely popular, and they’re safe for those who want to swim in the sea! This results in plenty of water sports activities being available across the beaches. With beaches such as Vilamoura Beach having beachfront bars, cafés and restaurants all nearby, you can easily turn your trip to the beach into a day trip!
For family holidays, the beaches and water sports that are available are perfect, but you should also take the time to visit the water parks! Vilamoura has three popular water parks with a collection of animal shows and water slides for everyone! Zoomarine, Aquashow and Slide and Splash are ready to provide you with hours of fun!
In and around Vilamoura, you’ll find some spectacular golf courses, including five 18-hole courses. If you’re looking for a golfing holiday, then Vilamoura has you covered. Some of the popular courses are The Victoria, used for the Portugal Masters and the Old Course. Even if you’re just looking to try a game to say you have done so, where better to do it then at some of the most beautiful and popular courses. Whether you’re a rookie or veteran or somewhere in between, you can have an excellent time!
Vilamoura is connected to nearby locations well thanks to the public transport available. There are three stand-out locations nearby, depending on the type of exploration and holiday you’re looking for. If you’re interested in a resort town where you’ll find excellent themed bars, shopping locations and spectacular restaurants, then Albufeira is perfect. Loule has a popular Portuguese market where you can shop and see some of the amazing stalls that keep bringing people back! Finally, if you’re interested in history and love seeing older architecture, then Faro is worth visiting! It also has plenty of cafés and restaurants so you can enjoy some delicious food whilst exploring.

THE REGION
Vilamoura has been a glamorous town ever since Roman time. Its rich history is still palpable as you walk its streets, coming upon Roman Baths and ancient murals all around town. These days, Vilamoura is still a high-class destination although it has certainly kept up with the times. Yachts dock at the large marina and travellers galavant the seaside strip hopping between bars, restaurants and the dazzling casino.
The local championship courses naturally attract a crowd of golf enthusiasts as well, and there is a large selection of other sports to enjoy in the area (including those best played out in the water). There is certainly no need to ever be bored in Vilamoura, but if it’s ultimate relaxation you’re after you won’t be disappointed. The town is alluringly close to Praia da Marina and Praia de Falesia, where the golden sand and hot Mediterranean sun is just about never-ending.

Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Zagalo has some excellent facilities for families, ranging from a large private swimming pool in the garden, to a pool table on the lower floor! You can have a lot of fun as a family, splashing and playing games together. But it does also have a large television in the living room where you can watch movies and television shows you’re familiar with on Netflix. With the addition of wi-fi throughout the property, you can connect your own devices and access home comforts which will help keep the kids entertained during downtime at the villa.
Thanks to beautiful beaches, Vilamoura is a popular family-friendly location. Villa Zagalo is within walking distance of the marina and beach, so you’re going to have easy access to a family day at the beach. There are plenty of eateries around, which will help to ensure that everyone can eat something they want! The villa is close to a supermarket as well so you can get everything you need easily.
The area has great water sports available at the beaches, as well as water parks nearby, including the popular Slide and Splash! Whether you’re looking for something to do for an hour or something to make a day out of, there will be activities and options nearby.
