Villa Torralta is a bright and comfortable four bedroomed two-story villa that sleeps up to 8 guests and has the luxury of its own private pool; Villa Torralta enjoys a fabulous location in the beautiful resort of Lagos, one of the loveliest areas in the Algarve.
The Algarve boasts spectacular beaches, stunning scenery and charming towns with unique shops, wonderful restaurants and delicious wines; you are perfectly positioned to enjoy the very best The Algarve has to offer.
In a quiet relaxing location away from the bustle of the centre, Villa Torralta is within walking distance of Porto de Mos beach, arguably one of the best beaches in Logos, long and wide with golden sands and a dramatic rock backdrop, you are going to love having this practically on your doorstep! Groceries and supermarkets are also a stroll away, and the beach has two great restaurants. Out and about, you can enjoy nearby tennis courts, and the centre of Lagos is only 10 minutes drive away, as is the wonderful Boavista Golf Resort and Spa.
The charming villa, decorated in cool whites, warm woods and terracotta tiles, is delightful both inside and out.
Private and secure, there is a pretty front garden and space for parking. The outdoor space offers a very attractive dining area for up to 10 guests and is perfect for barbeques and alfresco dining. For those lazy days, relax in colourful loungers under parasols by the inviting heated private pool. The energetic can make use of the table tennis table (which is undercover) or bikes, two adults and two children.
Inside, the ground floor has a comfortable open living and dining space. Oversized wicker seating surrounds the TV and fireplace and a delightful wooden dining table, seating up to eight, is the perfect setting for tasty feasts. The well-equipped kitchen is large with plenty of storage space and has the benefit of a coffee machine, washing machine and dishwasher.
There is one bedroom on the ground floor which has twin drawer beds, great for kids or those less mobile and there is a very convenient bathroom with shower.
Upstairs there are three simple, yet stylish, bedrooms. The master double bedroom enjoys an en-suite bathroom with bathtub and overhead shower and has balcony access.
The other two bedrooms are flexible twin bedrooms and share the use of a family bathroom, which also enjoys a bathtub and overhead shower.
All bedrooms have blackout blinds, and there is a cot available should you require it. For the convenience of guests, the property has internet and portable heating and a safe.

About the surrounding area of Villa TorraltaIn a beautiful tranquil location, surrounded by nature and just minutes away from the coast, Villa Torralta is perfectly placed to enjoy the delights of this wonderful region.
Lagos (lah-goosh) is nestled in an attractive bay, and its pretty old town with cobbled lanes, charming squares and quaint churches enclosed by 16th-century walls, it is a perfect place to stroll and explore. You will find unique, quirky shops and enjoy delicious meals. Lagos is historic and characterful with a rich seafaring heritage. Its attractive, ancient buildings include the 17th-century fort and intricate Baroque churches such as Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Luz, Santo Antonio chapel and the city’s ancient Moorish walls.
The Mercado Municipal da Avenida de Lagos is the number one spot for food shopping. The ground floor fish market is brimming with fresh fish and seafood of all kinds, perfect for your barbecue. It is buzzy, atmospheric and very colourful.
The big draw of Lagos is the gorgeous beaches. Quiet sandy coves nestled between dramatic cliffs. Every water sport imaginable is catered for, and there are great seafood restaurants and plenty of space on the majority of the beaches.
Praia de Porto de Mos is the villa’s closest beach and is large, beautiful and uncrowded. It’s a firm favourite for surfers and bodyboarding as the waves are big and foamy. Other beaches just a short drive away and worth visiting include Praia Dona Ana, a picture-perfect beach surrounded by high cliffs offering shade and calm waters; this is one of the best beaches to go snorkelling and deep diving.
Praia do Camilo is another golden sandy beach with calm waters accessible by 200 wooden steps; it is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve.
The main beach of Lagos is the spectacular Meia Praia Beach, and Lagos has a smart and sophisticated marina lined with shops, bars and restaurants and offers many boat trips to visit caves, snorkels or dolphin watches.
If you want to explore further afield, to the east of Lagos, you will find the stunning Praia do Alvor. It is located at the end of a wonderful boardwalk all the way from Alvor Town, running past the incredible, protected marshlands of the Ria de Alvor Nature Reserve. The stunning Praia do Alvor features three impressive sea stacks known as the Tres Irmaos or Three Brothers, as well as fine white sand, ochre sandstone cliffs, caves and extensive dunes.
The Boavista Golf Resort and Spa is only 2.5km from the villa and offers excellent top-class golf facilities and a wonderful Spa.

THE REGION
Lagos is a city on the western part of Portugal's south coast. The city is famous for its stunning beaches with beautiful rock formations and steep cliffs. The superb beauty of this charming city has no equal in the Algarve and is the reason why hordes of tourists travel thousands of kilometres to visit it every year.
Quiet sandy coves are sandwiched between dramatic cliffs. The sandy 2.5-mile stretch of Meia Praia caters to every water sport imaginable. And when you've had your fill, you can digest your day with some of the best nightlife in the Algarve region.
Drinking and good times continue to be a fundamental part of a visit to Lagos, and the fine array of restaurants, bars and local festas stand as a testament to this. The busy flea market fills the centre's narrow streets, which also boasts a Cultural Centre hosting various exhibitions and events throughout the year.
Lagos is equally suited as a family holiday destination; there are safe and sheltered beaches for your children, while thrill-seeking teenagers will adore the theme and water parks.

Though most people tend to see the Algarve as all about the beaches and a holiday on the Med, there’s far much more to it than that. Lagos is an excellent resort for families. So many of the beaches are kid-friendly you will be spoilt for choice! Besides Praia de Mos on your doorstep, particularly great beaches for kids include Meia Praia, the town’s main beach, which is very popular, Praia Dona Ana, Praia do Camilo, and Praia do Pinhao.
Praia da Luz is slightly further afield, but a superb beach for the kids and the village of Luz is small and charming.
There is a wonderful range of boat rides from the marina to watch for dolphins or discover the fascinating coastline. Children can try their hand at snorkelling, stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking or play on Lagos’ water trampoline. Lagos Zoo is very popular, with more than 150 species of animals to visit, including flamingos, monkeys, owls, vultures, hippos, iguanas, meerkats, penguins, crocodiles and chimps. Children always love feeding times at the zoo and can watch pelicans, otters, primates and lemurs being fed.
A fun way for the kids to see Lagos is to take a trip on the Lagos mini train. Offering a unique way of seeing the highlights of Lagos and its beaches, including Dona Ana Beach and Praia do Camilo. Lasting around an hour it’s a gentle and enjoyable way to get out of the heat and be entertained.
Slide and Splash Waterpark at Estombar is a fantastic day out for the whole family. Visitors can chill on the lazy river, enjoy the thrilling high water slides, inflatable rides and water playgrounds and just laze in the sunshine. There are several swimming pools as well as live falconry, reptile and tropical bird shows. The Autodromo racing circuit is excellent for go-karting. Aqualand Algarve is located in Alcantarilha and also has a huge array of water slides and rides, water playgrounds and a lazy river. It has the highest water slide in the Algarve.

| End of stay cleaning included? | Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit. |

We loved the villa and really enjoyed our stay in Lagos
We only had 5 people staying so the house was very spacious and there was plenty of rooms. The BBQ is a great addition to the garden and there was plenty of amenities for us to use. Overall, lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay in your house
Thank you for hospitality. It's perfect and well equipped. The only thing we missed in the kitchen was a eggbeater/whisk and more cutting boards. But these are just some small things we recognized. Nothing everybody needs maybe. :) And thanks again :)

Perfect for families
We had a lovely stay and a great experience at Villa Torralta. Our contact person always helped us very quickly and the house was in perfect shape an location. We also appreciate the housecleaning and pool service. The house is close to a very nice beach. And short distance to old town.

Excellent villa for a large family or two, the house is just as it comes in the photos, fully equipped. Large, spacious and clean. The staff very pleasant and helpful, they help you in everything you need. The area is spectacular, it has a privileged location and everything is close at hand. In short, a first class holiday.

It is a great house, spacious and comfortable. We were two families and it suited us well. The pool is of course very welcome. The area is quiet. You need a car to go to the supermarkets and the beaches. Nice walk to the beaches Dona Ana and a couple more. Recommend morning walks before the beaches get crowded:) All in all, great house for families.
