The incredible Fuentes Pera is a dream holiday home offering almost everything you could ever consider putting on your wish list! Set in one hectare of tropical gardens near Guia and just three kilometres from some of the Algarve’s most spectacular sandy beaches, this spectacular villa offers luxurious accommodation and brilliant entertainment spaces for up to fourteen guests. The villa is just minutes from boutique shopping at the Algarve Shopping Centre, minutes from Zoomarine and a thrilling waterpark and only a little further from the lively, upmarket resorts of Vilamoura and Albufeira.
Fuentes Pera enjoys a countryside setting close to the small town of Guia. Guia is famous throughout Portugal as the home of piri-piri chicken, made even more famous by the Nando’s food chain. The cobbled warren of narrow streets in the Old Town of Albufeira is lined with more than one hundred charming restaurants, whitewashed houses and excellent, unique shops. Its marina is a top-notch tourist destination in its own right, brimming with luxury yachts, colourful fishing boats and excellent, chic restaurants. The nearest beach to Fuentes Pera is Praia da Oura but there are plenty to visit including Praia do Peneco, Praia da Coelha, Praia de Sao Rafael, Praia da Falesia, Praia dos Arrifes, Praia do Castelo and Praia de Santa.
With the treats in store for you at Fuentes Pera you may however not leave the villa very much! The villa’s outside space is the highlight of the property, despite its magnificent interiors. This is a property where you really should consider hiring a private chef for one or two of your evenings. The interior and summer kitchens are remarkable. Fuentes Pera boasts a superb terrace, a giant swimming pool full of amazing features and a gorgeous, totally secluded garden. You can relax, wine, dine, barbecue and enjoy this very special, idyllic place. In the pool, you can enjoy the luxury of your own jet stream, fountains, a jacuzzi, an in-built bar, an underwater music system and LED underwater lights in a variety of colours. You will not be able to get your children to leave the pool! There is even a shallow area for the really little ones. Next to the pool is a large, shaded alfresco lounge area which sits around a fireplace, an enormous alfresco dining area and the most incredible summer kitchen. This boasts a fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven, electric hob, pizza oven and barbecue. Even the most discerning of barbecue masters will be delighted by this impressive kitchen. Table football is provided for some friendly competitive fun. There are plenty terrace spots to choose from, some shaded and others sun drenched, some offering gorgeous river views and some perfect for a quick dip in the pool.
The interior of Fuentes Pera is seriously impressive too with an all-white, striking open plan living space, another astounding kitchen and six bedrooms. Five of the bedrooms are located in the main house with the final one located in an adjacent annexe. Sumptuous sofas sit each side of a feature fireplace in the living room and on the other side, with wonderful pool and garden views, is the elegant dining space, again all in white. The villa’s glossy grey and white wondrous kitchen offers giant appliances and a magnificent central island with bar stools so that guests can pour a glass of chilled wine and keep the chefs in your group company. You will discover an induction hob, the largest American style fridge possible, an ice crusher, dishwasher, juicer, grill plate, coffee machine, steam oven, wine cooler and much more. There are also other smaller living spaces with televisions and quiet corners, perfect for large groups.
The villa’s six huge bedrooms are comprised of two doubles with ensuite bathrooms, one twin bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, two twins with a shared bathroom and an annexe with a large double bed plus two single beds and an ensuite bathroom. This room is perfect for a family unit. Like the main living space, some of the bedrooms are all in dazzling white with some striking artworks and garden views. On the whole they are minimalist in design with some artistic touches. The annexe is much more colourful. Each of the bedrooms enjoys access to the garden or a terrace.
Fuentes Pera offers guests so many treats from the very special pool, a Turkish steam room, a Sonos sound system, smart televisions, iPod docking, a pizza oven, table football and the most exceptional outdoor space. You might not want to leave but there are plenty of Algarve attractions, stunning beaches and Michelin starred restaurants on the doorstep!

- One of the bedroom suites is located in an annexe. There are an additional two single beds in here as well as a sumptuous double so this would be perfect for a family

About the surrounding area of Fuentes PeraFuentes Pera enjoys a delightful countryside location close to the home of Peri-Peri chicken, Guia. Guests can enjoy exploring the wonderful towns and villages close by, the Algarve’s sensational golf courses, family waterparks and theme parks, the nightlife of Vilamoura and Albufeira and the wonderful Algarve beaches.
There are sensational sandy beaches in Albufeira and the surrounding coastline including Praia da Oura, the closest to the villa, Praia do Peneco, Praia da Coelha, Praia de Sao Rafael, Praia da Falesia, Praia dos Arrifes, Praia do Castelo and Praia de Santa. Albufeira’s town beach of Praia do Peneco is reached through a tunnel through the cliffs or by taking an elevator from the beautiful promenade where you will enoy sensational sunset views. At low tide you can take some seriously long beach walks along the golden sandy coastline, admiring the red-hued cliffs that back most of the beaches. The famous Praia da Falesia is almost 6km long and takes roughly two hours to walk!
The cobbled warren of narrow streets in the Old Town of Albufeira is sprinkled with restaurants, whitewashed houses and unique shops. It is a very pretty place in the evenings. There are over 100 restaurants Albufeira, many serving super fresh fish straight from the marina. The marina is a top-notch tourist destination in its own right, brimming with luxury yachts, colourful fishing boats and buzzy restaurants as well as entertainment for the young ones such as bouncy castles and bowling. The town boasts a hedonistic nightlife, a beautiful promenade, stunning cliff walks, world-class golf courses, waterparks, zoos, high ropes adventure parks, boutique designer shopping and the ultramodern chic marina.
Guests staying at Fuentes Pera also enjoy visiting the atmospheric towns of Loule and Silves and Faro’s Old Town. They boast historic churches and castles, markets, fabulous fine dining restaurants and friendly locals. Silves is very attractive and boasts a rich history. Built on the banks of the River Arade, Silves offers plenty of outdoor cafes and scented orange groves. It is dominated by one of the best-preserved castles in the Algarve. Almancil is charming and typically Portuguese. It’s cobbled pavements are littered with cute cafes, restaurants, galleries displaying the local pottery and many artists workshops. The neighbouring village of Sao Lourenco boasts the most attractive church in probably the whole of the Algarve. It is decorated with characteristic blue tiles telling the life of its patron saint, beautiful azulejo work dating back to 1730. Very close to the church is the local centro cultural which hosts a range of art exhibitions and musical performances.

THE REGION
Albufeira is one of the Algarve's top hotspots. It's a charismatic beach town with an energetic and busy vibe where every type of holidaymaker can find something to enjoy. Not only is it family friendly and bursting with great activities for kids and teens, there is also a buzzing nightlife scene on the downtown strip for adults travelling on their own.
If you’re after something a bit more cultural, there is also a beautiful Old Town where all the best restaurants and historical sites can be found. For those looking to get a little bit extra out of their Albufeira stay, Vidamar Resort in the Salgados area offers all the perks of staying in a self-catered villa plus the amenities of a luxury resort.
Not far from there you’ll also come across the beachy Sao Rafael as well as Galé where the sandy stretches and deep blue waves will have you thinking you’re on the set of a photoshoot. Golf lovers might want to head to Amendoeira Golf Resort, located a quick fifteen minutes from Albufeira, which is perfect those who like a good game while still staying close to town.

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesFuentes Pera is an excellent choice for a family holiday. It is big enough for two families or a large, multi-generational one. There are wonderful entertainment spaces and probably one of the best pools in the whole of the Algarve. Children will be totally overwhelmed with its special features. There is also a very generous sized garden and activities such as table football.
Albufeira is a wonderful playground for children. There is an endless list of attractions from fabulous beach days, thrilling fun on inflatable playgrounds or banana boats, visiting animals in Zoomarine, water adventures in the water parks, bowling, mini-golf, high ropes challenges, kayaking, boat rides to petting zoos.
The water parks are excellent for family fun. Aqualand Algarve, Aquashow Family Park and Slide & Splash provide thrilling aquatic fun for the whole family. Slide & Splash offers birds of prey presentations, reptiles and macaw presentations as well as excellent, adrenaline rush slides. The 4-man Big Wave ride surprises even the most adventurous. Aquashow Family Park is located in Quarteira and Aqualand Algarve is situated in Alcantarilha, between Albufeira and Portimao where you will find the highest water slide of the Algarve. All members of the family will be happy, even if they just want to relax on a lazy river or top up their tan.
Horse and pony lovers can enjoy treks and lessons in dressage, jumping and stable management at the Albufeira Riding Centre, Equestrian Horse Riding Albufeira and the Riding Center Quinta da Saudade. Experienced riders can enjoy memorable beach treks.
The charming Krazy World Zoo is an interactive zoo with activities for everyone. Children can feed dwarf goats, llamas and deer in the petting zoo and in Terra Exotica they can enjoy interaction with African spur turtles and birds in the aviary. The zoo is also home to lemurs and some 8.5m snakes. There are some fabulous animal presentations and a delightful pool to swim in. The world of dinosaurs, mini-golf, pedal karts and bouncy castle are an added bonus! Children could never be bored in Albufeira!

Fantastic villa!!!
Fantastic villa!!! Everything was really fine, well organized, very kind people.
All the high-class technic worked very well and the huge swimming pool is awesome. The pictures on the website are much worse than the reality on the ground. It’s often the other way around.
We’ll definitely try to come back. -
SUPERB!!
This is a superb villa (although you would expect it to be) the house is fabulous with all bedrooms equal in there own way. Loads of communal space, we predominantly used the outside kitchen, so so many fridges, with all the equipment you could want. The villa is so quiet, no one to overlook or disturb you but does mean you will need a car or be happy to Uber everywhere. The owners couldn’t have been more accommodating and had everything for a baby (even a baby towel) when we reported that a plug was broken it was fixed the same day. The pool is beautiful! So clean! And the cleaners came half way through to refresh everything. They had also put together a wonderful welcome hamper so you have something to nibble and drink when you arrive which was a wonderful touch. Overall a fabulous family stay, thank you!

This is the second time we have rented this villa and it is a beautiful experience. There is a a lot of communal space and the bedrooms are beautifully designed and cool. The cleaning staff are excellent and the manager is quick to respond if we had an issue. We had one only and it was dealt with very quickly.
One thing that would be helpful is having more than 2 sets of keys and fobs, as there were 12 of us, many of us going out at different times of the day. Otherwise a beautiful setting for a big family holiday. -

This place was phenomenal in every way
This place was phenomenal in every way. Pictures can always be a bit deceiving but this was the first time that a place was better in person than in the listing The outdoor area and pool in particular are enormous and absolutely gorgeous. Service was also beyond anything I have experienced before with a full cleaning twice a week. The owner also accommodated several requests and went above and beyond (including getting us some initial groceries as we were arriving late). I would 100% recommend this place. It had a lot of space for a large family and kids in particular will love the pool and the patio area!

Beautiful property
This was a beautiful property, well looked after and the owners were attentive and responded quickly to any questions or issues we had, which were very few. I would advise hiring more than one car as the house is quite rural and many Uber drivers had trouble finding the house. Otherwise, it was as described on the site. We were a family of 11 and it was very spacious and well designed for us.
