The enormous Casa Alamante, is the perfect place for large groups and families to enjoy the wonders of southern Portugal. Unwind and have fun in this six-bedroom home, located around a wealth of opportunities for exploration and leisure!
Tastefully designed both indoors and out, this three-storey villa offers privacy when you are outside on the deck, whilst offering stunning views from terraces and indoors. Air-conditioning ensures conditions are just right in the lounging and resting spaces and with space for up to fourteen guests, you can bring along multiple families or as large a group as you can round up!
Stepping into the home, Casa Alamante provides you with a lobby and instant fun, with a foosball table in the entrance hall. Beyond the entrance hall, the first room you encounter will be the place of gathering, whether to relax or eat. The lounge and dining area features two plump sofas by the patio doors, allowing sunlight to bask the room and offers a sizeable television to enjoy a film or two when its time to decompress. A dining table has been laid out here, where you can laugh and chatter as enjoy meals together with fellow guests! Next door you will find the fully-equipped kitchen, where you can try your hand at Portuguese recipes or grab yourself a snack or drink, as there is adequate space to store refreshments!
From the living area, you can access two porches. The porch at the front of the house provides a lovely area to relax and kick back, with a cushioned outdoor sofa and views of the port of Albufeira and the sea beyond! The porch at the back of the house is where your getaway can come to life. Surrounded by privacy-providing walls, you can get right into the massive outdoor pool, large enough to host any and all guests that venture with you. Or take it easy and relax on sun-loungers that deck the pool, whilst you sip on something cool and refreshing. To top off evenings, make sure you make a spread of grilled foods courtesy of the barbecue and sink area and serve it on the alfresco dining table.
One bedroom sits on the ground floor, offering two single beds and an en-suite bathroom, especially handy for those who don't want to travel up and down the stairs. The remaining bedrooms sit across the second floor. Three of the bedrooms offer double beds, en-suite facilities and outdoor terraces where you can gaze across the vast sea with a morning nightcap or an evening nightcap. The remaining two bedrooms offer guests two more single beds in one room and three single beds in the final room with shared use of a bathroom. On the third floor, you have even more beautiful courtesy of another terrace!

Visit, castles, ports, seasides and outstanding restaurants where you will find foods that will become one of your favourites instantly!
Albufeira is one of the best places to be along Portugal's southern coast. Blessed with a delightful climate, any activity you choose to experience will be blessed with the perfect conditions. Spend lazy days on beaches and marinas, enjoy activities on both land and sea as well as a buzzing nightlife for you to truly live your best life!
A less built-up beach lies just under ten minutes away from the villa, Baleeira Beach, where you can relax and take it easy with your beachwear and food or for a beach where all you need to bring is your swimwear is Praia dos Alemães. Beautiful golden sand meets the Atlantic Ocean, providing darling settings to enjoy the climate and views across the endless waters. You can grab a cocktail, a beer or a fresh juice in the midday sun as you relax on hired sun-loungers and take it easy. The beach offers restaurants on the shores, so you don't even have to mover too much for some peri-peri chicken!
Head through the town and centre square and watch the day to day life of the residents and business owners here, as you traverse cobbled steps and narrow streets of old. You can visit some of the more cultural sites in the town top, while you digest your meals. Visit the doorway of the Church of São Sebastião, a look at Manueline architecture and the archway in the Travessa da Igreja Velha, evidence of the Moorish presence once in the region.
At night, Albufeira bursts to life with a selection of nightclubs and bars that are open all night. Enjoy shaking a leg until early hours of the morning and finishing off the night at restaurants and stalls open serving delicious warming and revitalising dishes to either fuel you for more or help you sleep at home with a warm belly!

THE REGION
Albufeira is one of the Algarve's top hotspots. It's a charismatic beach town with an energetic and busy vibe where every type of holidaymaker can find something to enjoy. Not only is it family friendly and bursting with great activities for kids and teens, there is also a buzzing nightlife scene on the downtown strip for adults travelling on their own.
If you’re after something a bit more cultural, there is also a beautiful Old Town where all the best restaurants and historical sites can be found. For those looking to get a little bit extra out of their Albufeira stay, Vidamar Resort in the Salgados area offers all the perks of staying in a self-catered villa plus the amenities of a luxury resort.
Not far from there you’ll also come across the beachy Sao Rafael as well as Galé where the sandy stretches and deep blue waves will have you thinking you’re on the set of a photoshoot. Golf lovers might want to head to Amendoeira Golf Resort, located a quick fifteen minutes from Albufeira, which is perfect those who like a good game while still staying close to town.

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesKids will enjoy the huge space that Casa Alamante provides. Three floors offer spaces for families to come together or find some seclusion to enjoy your getaway. Kids will spend hours in the outdoor pool, splashing and cannonballing into the waters. And as it has Roman steps, all ages can get inside. Adults can relax nearby on sun-loungers whilst keeping an eye on the kids or preparing a grilled feast for all to enjoy alfresco dining table.
Indoors kids and adults alike can face of on the foosball table, grabbing refreshments from the fully-equipped kitchen also on the ground floor to compliment your fun. When you want to lie down or put your feet up chill out on the lovely pair of sofas by the television!
Three bedrooms offer double beds, which are perfect for the couples and grown folks in the family whilst the remaining bedrooms offer six single beds, perfect for siblings and little ones. A two additional beds can be booked to extend the capacity to fourteen.
Praia dos Alemães is the best place to take the family for good times on the beach. Golden sandy shores allow safe play for children and as they dig and play about in the sand, adults can relax on loungers and bask in the glorious heat. The waters towards the central area of the beach are where the waters are calmest and you can have peace of mind when getting in as there are lifeguards on deck. The beach hosts an inflatable playground on the waters, so kids and active adults can enjoy the day on slippery slides and bouncing platforms as well as obstacle course sprints. Older children and teens can get involved in an array of water-sports, such as traditional surfing, diving or a with the rest of the family, trying to hang onto a wet and wild ride on the banana boat. Slow the tempo down with a blissful journey on a kayak to explore the cliffs and scenes around the coast or enjoy a tour on a boat, where you visit caves and coves that are dotted across the shores.
