About Budva

Budva has been celebrated for its remarkable Riviera for decades! Not only are the beaches pristine and spoilt with turquoise waters, holiday-goers are continually reminded of this destination’s antiquated past wherever they look. With mesmerising streets in the Old Town and Monasteries rising over the symbolic Adriatic rooftop-slates, tourists unite in this glorious city for treasured holidays.

First stop, the Beaches! Budva’s coastline stretches for over 20km, so you will have to meander out of the city’s medieval walls to enjoy your choice of seventeen beaches. By far the most popular of these beaches is Jaz – here you will find lots of water-based activities that extend over the 4km shore. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, a day trip to the charming island of Sveti Nikola is urged. Not only will you experience stunning scenery, which locals liken to Hawaii, but you’re likely to see deer and rabbits. If the heat and sand is all becoming a little too much for you and the family, make sure to visit Aquapark Budva. This impressive facility not only has restaurants, shops and great views, but it also has a superb range of water related activities.

During the day, feel free to explore the Old Town. There’s lots to see and you will learn about this unique town’s history, so visit the numerous museums, the Citadel and Santa Maria del Punta Church. After some sightseeing, stretch your legs along the promenade that acts as a walkway between Budva and another of our favourites - Sveti Stefan. Perhaps stop off half way down this coastal boulevard and familiarise yourself with the Montenegrin food, which includes the well-known Njeguski Steak (schnitzel filled with Njegusi prosciutto & cheese), Buzara (shellfish & prawns) and Ispod Saca (a hearty stew). If shopping is your thing, we suggest a trip to Petrovac in order to explore the dozens of unusual boutiques that are still spoilt with prominent coastal views.

Budva does have a recognised nightlife scene, so if you fancy a cocktail in the evening then check out Mogren Beach or Maltez. Festival goers are drawn to this part of the world during late August for the intimate Sea Dance Festival.

Budva has seen some developed over recent years, but that hasn’t taken away from its 2,500-year history. If you want to be wowed by architecture, beaches and wonderful food & drink – we think you’ve found your next holiday!

Entry Requirements

Tourists who are British Citizens will not require a visa upon arrival, unless their stay lasts longer than 90 days. Please check Entry Requirements before departure.

Getting There

Sveti Stefan, Bar & Ulcinj are served by Tivat Airport and Podgorica Airport. Please note that Tivat is a smaller International Airport, which can experience overcrowding in Peak Season. Due to its proximity to Orjen & Lovćen Mountains, flights are sometimes re-directed to Podgorica Airport or cancelled in the case of bad weather.

From the UK:
Direct flights are available from London on Montenegro Airlines, easyJet, TUI, Ryanair and many others. Chartered flights are also available from several other UK airports.

From Dubrovnik, Croatia:
Connecting flights are available from Dubrovnik Airport to Podgorica Airport.

By Bus:
GetByBus operates from Dubrovnik, Tivat and Podgorica to Sveti Stefan, Bar & Ulcinj. Journeys can take up to 4 hours and 45 minutes.

Security deposit €500 paid in cash to the owner upon arrival and refunded upon departure, subject to full inspection.

Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Heating costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Linen & towels included? Yes, included in the rental price.
End of stay cleaning included? Extra 100€, paid locally. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Internet access? Complimentary Wi-Fi internet access is included in rental price. It is good to note that the speed is dependent on the local provider and technical issues may cause reduced speed or cut of service.
Minimum stay 3 nights. All other durations on request.
Changeover day Flexible
Pets welcome? On request only and with prior agreement with the owner.
Smoking Allowed? Smoking & Vaping are not permitted inside the villa.
Tax Tourist tax will be charged according to the local rate upon arrival in cash:
Approx €1.50 per adult per day
Guests aged 12 to 18 years old are to pay 50% of the rate
Children up to 12 years old are exempt from paying tax.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, loss of personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.

    The house is fantastic. Although we were on a business trip, we had time to enjoy all that this property has to offer. The house is fully equipped with everything you need, it also has a fully equipped summer kitchen. There is a swimming pool. We did not use it, because it is ready for use in late April, early May when the days are warmer. The house is located eight minutes by car from the center of Budva and it is better to have a car during your stay. If you want to go to restaurant, shops, beach you can't, but by car everything is very close

    The house is simply beautiful. It exceeded our expectations. The summer kitchen and also kitchen in the villa are fully equipped. The villa has everything you need. The pool is bigger than we thought. The owners are very kind and helpful.
    It is best to have a car during your stay in the villa, because it is located 10 minutes from Budva by car.

    We spent a wonderful weekend in the villa, which is only 10 minutes away by car from the center of Budva. An excellent swimming pool, an excellently decorated house with all the necessary amenities, a well-equipped summer kitchen, a spacious yard... everything you need to enjoy your vacation. The hosts are to be commended, they are very kind. We are coming next year, but for a longer period!

    Very well thought through villa. Great summer kitchen, BBQ facilities, small garden with fresh vegetables, ping pong, basketball court. Excellent swimming pool and area around it. Surrounded by views of mountains, provides a comfy feeling of complete exclusiveness. Excellent spot to stay away from the tourist crowd but within 10 min drive from Budva beaches, restaurants and so on. Car is nice to have but can probably do with taxis. The owners are very friendly, supportive and deal with any requests we had in a matter of minutes. Highly recommended for a family stay as well as a group stay.
