With rugged hills and mountains to one side and the glistening blue sea to the other, Villa Cappelletti enjoys a beautiful setting in Sicily’s West, amidst a vast garden with wraparound views. Though the home is rurally located, you are just 4km away from the closest village and from the nearest pebbled beach.
This whitewashed villa is a spacious, newly built home which has everything you need for a relaxing break. The home is bright and airy throughout, as the natural light floods the open-plan living spaces and the three bedrooms. Only the highest quality materials have been used in the home; including artisan tiles, modern art works and a designer kitchen. Facilities such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi and Smart TVs are also available.
On the ground floor you will find the heart of the home, a place for gathering for breakfast before heading out for the day or watching a film together in the evening. This open-plan space houses the living room with comfy sofas and a Smart TV, a dining table seating 8 people and a fully-equipped SMEG kitchen.
As evening falls, you can turn in for the night in one of the three bedrooms all located on the first floor. Two of these have double-sized beds and open out onto their own separate terrace, with steps leading down to the garden so you can enjoy your morning coffee in peace. The third bedroom, which also opens onto a balcony and terrace, can be set up as a twin room or as a double, to suit the needs of your group. Each of the bedrooms boasts an en-suite bathroom, while there is an additional bathroom with shower available on the ground floor.
Stepping out of the sliding doors on to the huge covered terrace, you will find a summer kitchen which has a barbecue area, a grill, hobs and a sink, so you can cook outdoors and take your meals on the shaded dining terrace. With the lovely weather, you are sure to wish to spend lots of time outdoors, and with shaded areas as well as seating in the sun, you will not be short of places to sit and unwind. The garden also boasts a private swimming pool and a yoga deck, a serene spot for your morning yoga practice.
When you wish to dine out or pick up some groceries, there are a few amenities near to the home and you will find a wider array of restaurants and shops in the nearby village of Scopello. This pretty, hilltop village has espresso bars, pizzerias, seafood restaurants and breakfast spots. There are also historic attractions here such as quaint churches, medieval gateways and the old Tonnara.
In addition to Scopello, you are also able to visit the many nearby beaches. The closest beach is a lovely pebbled cove, though you will also find long sandy beaches nearby. The town of Castellammare del Golfo is home to some of these attractive beaches as well as a wide range of eateries and a seaside castle. You are also well-placed for taking a day trip to San Vito Lo Capo where you will find some of the best beaches on the whole island.
