Combining the nonchalant charm of a traditional Italian farmhouse with modern flair, the bright interiors are effortlessly cosy. On the lower floor, guests can find the master bedroom with a queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, as well as an additional double bedroom and equally sophisticated bathroom. Combining old with the new - think exposed wooden beams, rustic furniture and pleated window curtains – these rooms offer the utmost comfort.
Upstairs there is a stunning open-plan space featuring a farmhouse-style kitchen and homey living room complete with 15th-century features such as original furniture that has been re-modelled to achieve a more stylish look. From here you can enjoy truly breathtaking views of Palazzo Vecchio and the Duomo, thanks to the windows spread all around the room. You’ll love spending the mornings on the panoramic terrace listening to the sound of bell towers and enjoying freshly baked croissants from the panetteria downstairs – after you climb the 86 steps, of course. Alternatively, the second terrace is excellent for finding a cosy corner with a good book.
Florence’s beautiful and vibrant charm awaits outside the apartment’s front door. Set in a historical building which was the embassy of the Duchy of Milan during the 15th century, you have all the attractions and foodie spots virtually at your doorstep. After a walk through the city’s narrow lanes, stopping to peruse the many street markets, explore the stunning Pitti Palace and its botanical garden filled with trees and fountains. Florence’s museums, squares, churches and towers are also a must-visit before ending the day with a refreshing aperitif on a pavement terrace.
