- The swimming pool is unfenced, so younger children should be supervised when outdoors.
- As with many countryside homes in Sicily, occasional insects or mosquitoes may be present during warmer months. To combat this the owner is able to privide mosquito nets for your comfort.
- A car is recommended to explore the surrounding countryside and nearby towns as the roads surrounding the villa do not have a pavement
