Villa Delle Vigne is a beautifully restored 17th-century country house situated on the southeastern slopes of Mount Etna, near the village of Trecastagni in eastern Sicily. Surrounded by vineyards, orchards, and traditional stone walls, this historic villa offers a serene and authentic Sicilian experience.
The villa spans three levels and accommodates up to six guests across three charming bedrooms. The ground floor features a cozy living room with a fireplace and a fully equipped masonry kitchen. On the raised first floor, guests will find a living room-study area, a double bedroom with a balcony, a twin bedroom also with a balcony, and a bathroom with a shower. The lower-level houses another double/twin bedroom, a bathroom with a tub, and a laundry room.
The interiors of Villa Delle Vigne preserve original architectural features such as vaulted ceilings, terracotta floor tiles, wrought iron beds, stone arches, and colorful majolica tiles, blending traditional character with modern comfort. Amenities include air conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a dishwasher, washing machine, and fireplace.
Outside, guests can enjoy the expansive private garden, dine al fresco under a pergola, or unwind on the terrace. The villa also includes a barbecue area, sun loungers, beach chairs, and an outdoor shower, with private parking available on-site.
Located just 15 km from Catania and within easy reach of Taormina and Siracusa, Villa Delle Vigne is the perfect base for exploring Etna National Park, Sicily’s wine routes, and the cultural treasures of the island’s eastern coast.

- While peaceful and scenic, a car is recommended for accessing shops, restaurants, and nearby towns.
- Although the property offers ample outdoor space, it does not feature a swimming pool.
