Casa Lavica is a beautifully restored countryside villa nestled near Linguaglossa, on the eastern slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily. Surrounded by lush vineyards and rolling hills, this elegant retreat offers a tranquil escape with easy access to the natural beauty of Etna Park, the Ionian Sea, and cultural highlights like Taormina, Catania, and Siracusa.

The villa spans 120 m² and comfortably accommodates up to six guests across three double bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The ground floor features a spacious living room with a cosy fireplace, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a guest bathroom. Upstairs, two additional bedrooms, including one with a bathtub, are located in the attic, offering added privacy.

Blending rustic charm with modern convenience, Casa Lavica retains traditional features such as exposed wooden beams and terracotta flooring, while offering amenities like air conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and a washing machine. The kitchen includes an induction hob, dishwasher, espresso machine, and microwave. A welcome basket with breakfast items and local wine greets guests on arrival.

Outside, the villa sits within a 3,000 m² private garden and features a covered veranda, terrace with pergola, barbecue area, and a solarium with sun loungers—perfect for outdoor dining and relaxation under the Sicilian sun. Private on-site parking is also available.

Located just a short drive from Linguaglossa, Casa Lavica is an ideal base for families, couples, or friends eager to explore the region’s natural beauty and rich cultural heritage while enjoying peaceful countryside living.

What Oliver loves...

  • Casa Lavica is a beautifully restored country property with traditional features and a 'chalet' feel
  • The property benefits from three en-suite bedrooms, expansive 3,000 m² garden, covered veranda, and terrace with pergola for peaceful outdoor living
  • Set on the slopes of Mount Etna, close to the town of Linguaglossa, Etna Park, Taormina, and the stunning Ionian coastline.

What you should know

  • The bedrooms are split over two floor, and guests have to go up some exterior steps to reach the ground floor, so it may not be a good fit for those with mobility issues
  • Due to some drops in the garden, we don't recommend this property for young children
  • A car is recommended to reach nearby towns, shops, and attractions comfortably, but please note that the roads in this area are winding
  • While the garden and outdoor areas are spacious, the property does not include a pool
