Perched right on the water’s edge, Villa Fortino Del Garda is a truly unique lakeside retreat on Lake Garda, designed to blend seamlessly with its surroundings. Built in the 1960s by renowned Belgian architect Leon Stynen as his private holiday home, the villa appears to stretch into the lake itself, with terraces and porches extending out over the water. Tucked between hillside and shoreline, it enjoys a privileged setting just moments from the charming village of Bogliaco and close to Gargnano and Toscolano Maderno.
Inside, the villa combines architectural character with modern comfort following a thoughtful renovation. Sleeping up to eight guests across three bedrooms, it is particularly well suited to families or two couples travelling with children. The interiors are bright and inviting, with a comfortable lounge, fully equipped kitchen and dining space, all enhanced by uninterrupted lake views. Large windows and open living areas create a seamless connection with the outdoors, allowing the beauty of Lake Garda to be enjoyed from every corner.
Outside, terraced gardens lead down to the private dock, where you can swim, relax or moor a small boat. A covered outdoor dining area with barbecue invites long, leisurely meals overlooking the water, while a kayak is available for exploring the lake at your own pace. With its distinctive design, private lake access and exceptional setting, Villa Coccodrilla offers a memorable stay in one of Lake Garda’s most scenic locations.
