- Children are not to be left unattended in or by the pool.

So much to do
The lawn is huge and perfect for ultimate frisbee or soccer games. My family did on and off road biking and it is easy to get bikes delivered to the house. The pool was immaculate and the water was perfect. In the mornings we walked down the hill to the village where there is an old fashioned bakery that made incredible baked goods. The grocery store is a 5-minute drive too. It took 30 minutes for us to get there from the Milan airport and Lake Lugano and Lake Como are both an easy 25- minute drive. There is so much to do in the area. On the one rainy day we had we went bowling in the town nearby. I can only say that our family will never forget what a wonderful time at Villa Nelson.

Highly recommend
We loved this beautiful, cosy house and everything about it! From the fully stocked kitchen to the lovely pool, we enjoyed the whole experience very much. We would highly recommend, easy access from Milan airport, a short drive from Lake Como and a really fun and romantic atmosphere. The owner is lovely and accommodating. Book and enjoy!

Just Perfect
We came to Villa Nelson to spend our Christmas holidays there. The house and the whole area were just perfect for our big group (11 persons). The facilities were really good for us, enough bedrooms, bathrooms and a big kitchen to cook Christmas dinner. The location was very good, only some 40 km from Malpensa airport, with Lake Como lake quite near. I really can recommend this place!

Perfect, beautiful and authentic
We so thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we were a large and lively group and the house was perfect, beautiful and authentic. Each corner of the house is more cosy and inviting than the next. It is in a wonderful location for sightseeing, enjoying the magnificent views and taking in the culture of the region.

We really enjoyed the villa. Everything was beautiful and spacious. Plenty of room to spread your wings or just curl up with a good book. Quiet and serene. Would definitely go back. Thanks to the owners for making this a magical vacation.

Fabulous time
We were a group of old friends meeting up and had a fabulous time, with swimming and dining the main focus of every day! We rode bikes through the woods, took a speedboat out on Lake Como, hiked through the WW1 battlefields, visited Santa Maria del Monte and had a wonderful lunch two thousand feet above the lake. The only challenge was deciding what to do each day and what we would ask the Chef to create for us! The owner was so helpful about our booking, nothing was too much bother, even though we came from all over the world!

A real family home
We have been lucky enough to stay at Villa Nelson three times. Each time there has been something new and wonderful to find - a new place to sit, a new view, a previously unseen beautiful work of art, and hopefully, with more visits, there will be previously unseen joys. This is a real family home and there is a strong sense that Villa Nelson has enjoyed many evenings of family gathered around the fire in the winter, celebratory dinners enjoyed and lazy summer afternoons around the pool. The setting sun around the spectacular natural pool with the Alps in the distance is a treat that no one should miss.

Nice, cosy family get-together
We spent a really nice Christmas here, and the villa was perfect in size even though we were a large group of 11 people. We really much enjoyed also playing tennis at the premises, and we think that the swimming pool area in general would be very nice in the summer. From the big and beautiful front yard and terraces you get a view of the Alps. Now when it was winter, we enjoyed the villa more from the inside, sitting by the relaxing fireplace. The kitchen was very well equipped, it had everything we needed and more. Thank you! I would definitely recommend this place for a nice, cosy family get-together.
