Villa Vitelius is a pretty, two-bedroom home overlooking the sea on the stunning island of Ischia. The island sits in the Gulf of Naples just an hour away from the coast of mainland Italy, yet the island has character and culture of its own as well as its Italian identity. This spacious villa offers a fantastic home for your holiday on this volcanic island.

The villa brims with Mediterranean décor; the whitewashed walls, pretty blue tiles and exposed snippets of rock all allow the views of the surrounding nature to blend with the lovely interiors. As well as having lots of character and quirky details, Villa Vitelius has all the modern conveniences needed for a relaxing holiday, including flat-screen TVs, WiFi and air-conditioning.

The living area of the villa includes a spacious open-plan living and dining room which is ideal for relaxing together after the sun goes down. When it is time to get some sleep you will find two large double bedrooms, one of which opens onto a patio area.

Outdoors in the gated garden, there are terraces and sunny patios with panoramic views of the sea and the leafy surrounding area. A sweeping terrace is available with an al-fresco dining area, sun-loungers and a private hot tub which offers incredible sea views while you soak.

When you need to stock up on some shopping, there is a supermarket just a few minutes walk away, as well as cafes and restaurants for when you want to sample the local cuisine. The local area also has thermal spas and botanical gardens which are great places to visit and there are further amenities less than 3km in the town of Forio.

For days out you could visit the capital of the island which is actually two connected towns Ischia Porto and Ischia Ponte. Or if you wish to take a boat trip off the island then in an hour you could be on the beautiful island of Capri or in Sorrento or Naples in mainland Italy.

** Please note the property is actually located on the island of Ischia. Regular ferries depart from Porto d'Ischia and Porto di Casamicciola to Naples**
