Ambra View rests quietly on the edge of the Ambracian Gulf, close to the traditional village of Sparto and just beyond the harbour town of Amfilochia. This unspoilt region remains largely untouched by mass tourism, offering an authentic glimpse of Greek life amid olive groves and coastal air.
Sparto is a tranquil hillside village where neighbours greet each other by name and local cafés serve strong coffee and even stronger stories. Its architecture features terracotta rooftops, stone façades, and vivid bougainvillaea. From the villa, a short drive along winding roads brings you to the village centre, where you can pick up essentials or enjoy a leisurely meal at a taverna with views.
Nearby Amfilochia is livelier, with a pretty seafront promenade, cafés, bakeries, and small shops. Fresh seafood arrives daily from local boats, and you’ll also find historic churches, vibrant market stalls, and a few quiet beaches perfect for paddling or snorkelling.
Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the surrounding landscape. The Ambracian Gulf is a protected wetland that attracts a diverse array of birdlife, while inland hills, covered in olive and pine trees, offer scenic drives to hilltop villages and stunning sea views.
Though the pace is relaxed, there are options for exploration, kayaking in the bay, discovering hidden coves, ancient ruins, or even a winery or two tucked into the hills. Ambra View’s setting combines peaceful seclusion with authentic Greek charm close at hand.
