Overview
Beautiful Carrara Gardens, a private cluster of beachfront villas on the north coast of mainland Greece, overlooking the cerulean blue waters of the Aegean Sea. This incredible property is set amidst 3000 sqm of meticulously maintained Mediterranean gardens and consists of three independent exquisite detached villas, hosting up to eighteen guests.
The largest villa can accommodate up to nine people, the middle villa seven, and the smallest two. Events can be held at the villas, making it a perfect holiday for a family celebration, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, or simply a large group of friends who wish to go on a fabulous vacation. The three villas share the grounds and gardens, and a swimming pool, with all the requisite amenities. The Aegean Sea is on the doorstep, and a concierge team can arrange almost anything from yoga lessons and horse riding to private chefs and butlers.
The largest villa is built over three storeys and has a sea view sitting room, a fully-equipped kitchen, and its own private terrace, with soft seating, a kitchenette, and an alfresco dining spot. There are three double bedrooms on the upper floor, one with a king-size bed, two with twin beds, and two bathrooms. On the lower floor, there is a bedroom with two single beds, a sofa bed, and two shower rooms.
The second villa is also on three levels, with a sea-view living space and kitchen, and a private sea-view terrace with outdoor seating and eating areas. There are two double bedrooms on the upper level, one with a king-size bed, and the other with twin beds, and two bathrooms. The lower level has a bedroom with a queen size bed, a sofa bed, and two bathrooms.
The smallest bijou villa is on one level, with a garden-view living area and a full-size kitchen, with a private veranda. There is a bedroom with a king-size bed and a bathroom with a shower.
The gardens and exterior living space at Carrara Gardens are out of this world, manicured lawns, and tiled terraces from all three villas lead to an inviting, ladder-entry swimming pool. The pool is surrounded by modern mesh sun loungers with shady parasols, and soft seating spots, where you can sip your morning coffee and catch up with this season’s best seller. Stroll around the gardens, sit in the shade, then visit the on-site concierge house to arrange a yacht charter or canape and Champagne butler-service party. Cool off under the outdoor shower, before meeting for sunset cocktails at the poolside bar. A stylish, brick-built pergola is home to a fourteen-seater dining set, ideal for some alfresco feasting at the elegantly dressed table. As dusk falls, raise a toast to the most amazing vacation, in the most stunning setting.

Location
About the surrounding area of Carrara GardenCarrera Gardens can be found on the shores of a beautiful bay on the coast of the Greek mainland overlooking the azure waters of the Aegean Sea. The villa is a thirty five minute drive through the Greek countryside from Athens’ International Airport and just fifty minutes from the centre of the capital and Acropolis. The nearest town is the hot spot resort of Drosia, and the island of Evia is only a ten-minute drive from your holiday haven.
Carrera Gardens is opposite Paralia Panagitsa, whilst nearby Alkyes Beach in Drosia, with its golden sands, crystal clear waters, organised facilities, watersports, bars, and restaurants, is the best in the area. Dance the night away on the sandy shores of the beach clubs, then recover at the much quieter Limanki or Kokkini beaches down the coast.
The beautiful island of Evia is a remarkably accessible destination from the city centre of Athens, Athens International Airport and the ports of Piraeus or Rafina.
Frequently misperceived as part of the mainland due to its connection by two bridges (a modern suspended one and an old sliding one), Evia is the second-largest island in Greece after Crete. It is, in fact, separated from the mainland by the narrow Strait of Evripos.
Discover beautiful beaches, waterfalls, archaeological sites, monasteries, dragon houses, and museums. Watch in wonder as the tide naturally turns every six hours due to the pull of the moon, see the Castle of Karababa, shop for souvenirs, and dine in waterfront restaurants.
Charter a yacht, sail the coast and spend the day sunbathing, swimming, and snorkelling. Venture further afield to the thermal spa resort of Aidipsos, the ancient city of Eretria, and the picturesque port town of Karystos.

Region
Our beautiful villas rentals in this region are located either on or close to Evia Island, Greece’s second largest island connected to the mainland by one of two bridges across the narrow Euripus Strait, around 75km north of Athens city centre.
Also known as Euboea, the vastness of this magnificent island means there is so much to see and do and it is relatively untouched by tourism compared to other Greek destinations. That said, due to its accessibility, Athens city dwellers know all about this hidden holiday gem with its idyllic beaches, incredible scenery and healing waters.
Both bridges lead to the small city of Chalkida, the gateway to the island – if passing through, stop and watch in wonder as the tide naturally turns every six hours, then enjoy a stroll by the waterfront with vibrant restaurants and bars.
As you explore Evia Island, learn all about its fascinating heritage as you come across historic treasures including the ancient sites of Eretria, the megalithic drakospita in Mount Ochi and the Byzantine fortress of Karystos.
Swim in turquoise-coloured sea in remote spots backed by dense forest and mountains or enjoy the crashing waves of other stretches of coastline. Some picturesque beaches are backed by atmospheric taverns serving fresh seafood and traditional Greek fare whilst other hard-to-reach bays are serene hideaways reached via tracks.
The mountainous landscapes of Mount Ochi are stunning with waterfalls, ravines and gorges, a paradise for experienced hikers. Elsewhere, pass landscapes of vineyards, olive groves and chestnut forests as you follow ancient walking trails through the island.
Evia is also loved for its thermal spas – those in the know head straight to the coastal town of Aidipsos famed for its mineral springs. This spa resort has attracted many visitors, including famous names, since Roman times when Emperors came to bathe in the healing water of the island.
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesThere’s so much for kids to see and do when on holiday in Carrara Gardens. Starting with the villa’s huge swimming pool, where they can swim and splash all day. The villa is surrounded by a lawned garden populated with mature trees, perfect for them to safely play. The villa has a kayak they can take to the sea, and two bicycles to cycle around the town.
The nearest beach is a few metres away, with easy entry, and crystal clear shallow waters, and there are lots of organised family-friendly beaches along the coastline, many offering a selection of fun water sports for all ages.
In nearby Drosia there is Chalcis Paintball, tennis courts, a riding school, and an indoor sports centre. Hike or bike the trails through the forests, mountains, and verdant valleys of Evia, and discover the local flora and fauna.
Spend the day in the capital Chalkida, wander around the museums, cross the chain and suspension bridge, and watch in wonder as the tide naturally reverses every six hours.
All aboard for a family day at sea, and take a nautical odyssey around the coast. Go further afield to the Red Castle at Kaystos, and the waterfall of Drimona. In the evenings share a feast of Greek meze at a family-friendly taverna, and watch a favourite film alfresco under the twinkling stars.
