- We loved the flexibility of some of the rooms, the studio can become a baby room or fitness studio, the office can become a bedroom, there’s always room for manoeuvre at Villa Atalandia
- The sea view tiered terrace has to be seen to be believed, it is epic, but what we really loved was the steps down to the super-size swimming pool, with its four splash pools, great fun for all the family
- Villa Atalandia is secluded & private, yet a great place to host a party or wedding reception, it really does tick all the boxes

Villa Atalandia is designed for those seeking a quiet and private holiday, ideally located on the southeast coast of Crete in the Mediterranean Sea. This beachfront villa, situated on a high bluff near the village of Goudouras in the Lassithi region, offers panoramic sea views. It features six ensuite bedrooms and can accommodate up to fourteen guests, making it suitable for large family gatherings or groups of friends.
The 400 square meter, two-story property is built on private land with a stone wall, paved terrace, private swimming pool with four splash pools, and lawned gardens. Villa Atalandia includes private parking, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and satellite televisions in all rooms. The villa's architecture combines classic Mediterranean whitewashed walls, stone walls, and tiled paving, with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors providing natural light and sea breezes. The interiors are furnished with natural wood pieces and parquet flooring, decorated in whites, browns, and blues.
The ground floor offers open-plan living with floor-to-ceiling windows, a seating area with leather sofas, a dining area, and a fully equipped modern kitchen. Two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and garden access are on this level, along with a separate studio with a private entrance, lounge, kitchenette, double bed, and en-suite bathroom. A laundry room with washing, drying, and ironing facilities is also available. The first floor features a hall with access to outdoor sea-view terraces, a guest cloakroom, an open-plan living space with a sea-view sitting room and fireplace, a dining area, and a fully fitted kitchen with built-in appliances. There is also an office that can be converted into a bedroom and a guest toilet. Three en-suite double bedrooms with balconies and sea views complete this floor.
The outdoor area includes a tiered terrace with lawned gardens, a large swimming pool with splash pools, and sixteen sun loungers. Guests can enjoy activities such as ping pong, table football, basketball, and fitness equipment. The shaded seating area is ideal for morning coffee, and the terrace is perfect for cocktails and alfresco dining with a built-in barbecue.

Additional Fees for Events
Yes, there is a fixed event fee of €1,250, payable directly. This fee includes:
Increased use of the grounds and amenities
Removal of sunbeds, umbrellas and other furniture from event areas
Toilet attendant/cleaning staff for 3-4 hours during the event
Post-event villa cleaning
Reinstatement of all outdoor furniture and equipment the following day
Wedding Ceremony and Reception
The venue offers a flexible layout suitable for both ceremonies and receptions, with indoor and outdoor event spaces available.
Catering
There is no in-house catering requirement. Couples are free to choose their own caterers or select from the villa's preferred supplier list.
