The ancient, pretty, coastal village of Nopigia is utterly charming with a lovely welcoming taverna, a Byzantine church, a village store and a sandy, family friendly beach. Nopigia is 6km east of Kissamos and 30km west of Chania, nestled on a wonderful stretch of coastline east of Kissamos Bay and on the edge the Rodopos peninsula. You will discover many romantic, hidden, rocky coves and the remote beaches of Choni as well as the famous, spectacular beaches of Balos on the Gramvousa peninsula, Falasarna and Elafonissi which are within easy reach of the villa. You can walk from the villa to Nopigia’s village centre in less than fifteen minutes.
Villa Levantes is set in impeccably manicured grounds, a privileged location where you can totally relax. There are three villas in this wonderful olive grove so you could ask friends to come along and enjoy a holiday in Crete while still enjoying a little privacy of your own. The living space is a total delight, mostly in white but with vivid red colour splashes. It boasts a high, beamed, vaulted ceiling, glass doors drowning it in natural light, modern furniture, a feature fireplace and a smart kitchen with a breakfast bar styled dining space. The chef’s in your group will find everything they need for your self-catering holiday. As well as a plush white sofa, there are bright red accent chairs, red cabinets and red stools in the kitchen and a striking red light hanging from the ceiling. The doors open to the main terrace and swimming pool where you can head out with a good book, a chilled glass of delicious local wine and your sunglasses.
The villa is built around its swimming pool with the living spaces on one side and two of the bedrooms on the other. They are joined by a glass-bottomed corridor which sits over the pool. It is a fun design and makes the most of Villa Levantes’ idyllic location. With modern architecture, an excellent layout and outstanding attention to detail, the villa is very attractive and superbly comfortable.
Villa Levantes offers three minimalist yet stylish bedrooms, two at the end of the glass corridor and one under the raised living space. All three boast beautifully dressed, comfy beds. The villa enjoys two bathrooms, one with a bath and overhead shower and the other with a shower. Like the rest of the villa, they are immaculate, beautifully maintained spaces.
Outside, you will enjoy the views, the pool, the mature garden and the spectacular, tranquil surroundings. You just need to pick your spot to unwind and soak in the views. Dining alfresco on the terrace is joyful.
