A small slice of luxury on the north-west coast of Crete, Villa Dorothea is the perfect holiday retreat for a group of four. The villa sits on the hillside, encircled by olive trees, endemic plants and beautiful flowers that help to submerge the modern villa into the natural surroundings. Spread over two floors, each corner of the villa has been carefully designed, with state-of-the-art appliances and beautiful furnishings that each add a new luxury, special feel to the property. The colour palette throughout is muted, using natural grey and stone tones, complimented by splashes of colour in the soft furnishings, that draw the natural greens and blues from the landscape within the villa’s walls.

On the ground floor you will find the main living space, all open-plan and with large patio doors that when open soften the barriers between the interior and exterior. The kitchen is sleek and sophisticated, with a fabulous island offering extra cooking room and doubling as a laid-back dining space. The rest of the room is taken up by a huge L-shaped sofa, the kind that you just want to sink down into, curling up with your loved ones, watching movies and chatting long into the evening with a bottle or two of chilled wine!

The bedrooms are spread over the two floors, with a relaxed double room on the ground floor that can be configured into a twin or a double bed for your convenience. This cosy room has an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in Spa shower, adding an element of luxury to your stay. Upstairs, the master suite has been beautifully designed, extending out into a balcony that offers breath-taking views, so even whilst lying in bed in the morning you can soak in the stunning uninterrupted view of the Aegean. The open-plan bathroom means you can also enjoy this beautiful outlook from the bathtub!

Every element of Villa Dorothea has been designed to connect you to the views, so once you step out onto the terrace, it feels hard to imagine ever leaving! The private swimming pool is bordered by a beautiful terrace, with luxury sunbeds and seating where you can sit back and fully relax, soaking in the Cretan sunshine!
