In the small village of Saint-Maurin, Maison Montjoi is a charmingly restored cottage with a private pool in the Lot-et-Garonne, ideal for a couple or small family. Only half an hour from Agen, this is a superb base for exploring this wonderful part of France with historic gems such as Lauzerte, Fleurance and Monflanquin all perfect days out.

With its traditional stone walls, exposed beams and carefully preserved character, step inside to find a welcoming farmhouse-style kitchen complete with dining table and an open-plan living area, an ideal space for relaxed evenings after a day of exploring. A small single bedroom and a beautiful bathroom are also located on the ground floor. From the kitchen, follow the staircase up to an open double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, allowing Maison Montjoi to sleep up to 3 guests.

Outside, discover the lovely lawned garden, a shaded dining area and a superb 10x5m swimming pool. Whether you’re sipping morning coffee al-fresco or enjoying a lazy afternoon by the pool, the outdoor spaces make the most of this authentic setting.

The house is in Saint-Maurin, a little village near the Tarn-et-Garonne border with excellent connections. Just five minutes away by car, Tayrac offers a small grocery shop, bread store and café bar. For more extensive amenities, the bustling market town of Valence d’Agen is only a 20-minute drive, with supermarkets, restaurants and a charming riverside ambience.

Maison Montjoi is perfectly placed for discovering many highlights of south-west France. Visit medieval hilltop villages like Lauzerte and Montaigu de Quercy, enjoy the vibrant markets of Moissac and Lectoure, or take a day trip to the lively town of Agen. From cycling trips along the Canal du Midi to rich cultural experiences, this region offers a little something for everyone.
