Head to Eugénie-les-Bains for Michelin starred dining or stay slightly closer to home for wine-tasting, glorious walks, cycle rides and pottering around historic rural villages and towns such as Lembeye, Arzacq and Morlaàs.
The region’s natural charm is matched by its access to larger destinations: the handsome town of Pau is within half an hour, while Biarritz and the Atlantic coast are easily reached for memorable day trips.
