Next to the house, the lake’s famous cycle path leads all the way to the historic town of Annecy, while nearby amenities include bakeries, fine dining, summer water sports centres and lakeside beaches. Whether you’re soaking up the Alpine sunshine by the pool, gliding across the water or exploring mountain paths further afield, Villa Rose Du Lac is your lakeside base for a holiday that balances effortless comfort with boundless Alpine charm.
- Sleeping up to 10 guests, there are four bedrooms in the main house and one bedroom in a separate maisonette.
- Guests have private access to the lake just a 2-minute walk away - do note access is steep and via scrambly rocks.
- There is a bus stop on the road next to the villa and shuttle services in the height of the summer. Cycling is another great way to explore the beautiful region with the much-loved cycling path so close. However, car hire is still recommended to fully explore the area.
- You could also walk to Veyrier-du-Lac, although note there are no pavements most of the way so it may be best to stroll along the back road near the lake or simply cycle along the designated path on the main road.
- One cot and one highchair are included. Any additional equipment is available at an extra cost of €15 for a cot and €10 for a highchair, payable locally.

Wedding Ceremony and Reception
An indoor reception can be set-up across the spacious open-plan living and dining space (with seating for up to 12 guests).
The outdoor areas offer separate locations for a symbolic ceremony, drinks reception and dining.
A suitably sized marquee can be set up on the terraced areas only – the area must be returned to its original condition after the event.
In line with local regulations, outdoor music and celebrations should end by 10.00 p.m.
The house is not licensed for civil ceremonies.
There are several churches and chapels within an approximate 5 to 15 minute-drive, including the beautiful Église Saint-Bernard de Menthon. A full list can be provided.
Catering
External caterers are permitted with prior discussion with the venue. A list of trusted local caterers, food trucks and private chefs can be provided.
Other Wedding Suppliers
The venue can provide a list of local wedding suppliers such as wedding planners, photographers, florists, food trucks etc.

Up to 10 guests can stay at Villa Rose du Lac and there are many other accommodation options in the Lake Annecy region.
Venue Accessibility
The house can be accessed easily by car, bike and local bus services.
There is complimentary car parking for up to eight vehicles (two outside the gate, two in the double garage, four in the driveway). Additional parking is available on nearby roads.
Venue Back-up
A suitably sized marquee can be set up on the terrace areas only – the area must be returned to its original condition after the event.
For smaller events, guests can set up their event indoors.
Flexibility on Duration
The minimum stay is usually 3 nights (in peak season this is 7 nights). The owners try and be as flexible as possible, depending on availability, with the exception of peak season.
Children
There is no formal child policy, however parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times.

If guests require early access to the house, this is subject to availability and rental fees (depending on the time required).
Additional cleaning can be arranged at an extra cost.
For the security of guest belongings, certain rooms within the house can be locked when required.
There are certain specific music/noise restrictions – in line with local regulations in residential areas, outdoor music and celebrations should end by 10.00 p.m.
There are certain restrictions on décor/themes – decorations must not damage the property, gardens or furnishings. All decorations and installations must be removed after the event and the property must be returned to its original condition.
Please note that any event rental may be subject to additional charges, venue hire fees and to a higher security deposit, which will be in addition to any published rental rates and fees.
All events are on request only and subject to prior agreement from the owner, who reserves the right to refuse all events without their prior authorisation.
