Set across three levels, Lakehouse Annecy is an exceptional abode that effortlessly balances comfort and style. The ground floor features a sleek American-style kitchen open-plan to the large living-dining area, with large windows framing the incredible vistas. A separate TV lounge is a welcome respite after a busy day exploring, whilst table football and ping-pong will keep all ages entertained.
Lakehouse Annecy hosts up to 15 guests across nine beautifully appointed bedrooms, eight of which feature air-conditioning. Some of our favourites include the three bedrooms in the ground-floor family wing, or fall in love with the three first-floor double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, TVs and wonderful views. At the top of the house, a superb studio bedroom, complete with kitchenette, lounge and a gorgeous open bathroom, provides an ideal sanctuary for couples or those seeking added privacy.
Outdoors, it’s simply idyllic as you relax on the generous terrace and lawn that lead directly to the lake’s edge. Spend sunny days lounging on sun loungers beside the water’s edge, paddleboarding from the pontoon or dining al-fresco at one of the two spacious outdoor settings, with barbecue and chilled wine at the ready. In cooler months, the newly added wood-fired hot tub ensures warmth and relaxation.
Just 16km by bike or car from Annecy, known as the Venice of the Alps, this southern lakeside setting is ideal year-round. From serene swims and hiking trails in summer to skiing in the nearby Aravis resorts come winter, the region is a natural playground. Restaurants, vineyards and vibrant festivals await, while a local summer ferry offers scenic trips.

Wedding Ceremony and Reception
An indoor reception can be set-up across the spacious open-plan living and dining space (with seating for up to 15 guests).
The outdoor areas offer separate locations for a symbolic ceremony, drinks reception and dining.
A suitably sized marquee can be set up on the terrace only – the area must be returned to its original condition after the event. There are also three large parasols available.
In line with local regulations, outdoor music and celebrations should end by 10.00 p.m.
The house is not licensed for civil ceremonies.
There are several churches and chapels within an approximate 10 to 15 minute-drive – details can be provided.
Catering
External caterers are permitted with prior discussion with the venue. A list of trusted local caterers and private chefs can be provided.
Other Wedding Suppliers
The venue can provide a list of local wedding suppliers such as wedding planners, photographers, florists etc.
Where to Stay
Up to 15 guests can stay at Lakehouse Annecy and there are many other accommodation options in the Lake Annecy region.
Venue Accessibility
The house can be accessed easily by car, bike and local bus services.
There is car parking for up to six vehicles (free of charge). Additional parking is available on nearby roads.
Venue Back-up
A suitably sized marquee can be set up on the terrace only – the area must be returned to its original condition after the event. There are also three large parasols available.
For smaller events (15 to 20 guests), guests can set up their event indoors.
Flexibility on Duration
The minimum stay is usually 3 nights (in peak season this is 7 nights). The owners try and be as flexible as possible, depending on availability, with the exception of peak season.
Children
There is no formal child policy, however parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times. Please note that there is an unfenced stream beside the house and direct lake access from the terrace.

If guests require early access to the house, this is subject to availability and rental fees (depending on the time required).
Additional cleaning can be arranged at an extra cost.
For the security of guest belongings, certain rooms within the house can be locked when required.
There are certain specific music/noise restrictions – in line with local regulations in residential areas, outdoor music and celebrations should end by 10.00 p.m.
There are certain restrictions on décor/themes – decorations must not damage the property, gardens or furnishings. All decorations and installations must be removed after the event and the property must be returned to its original condition.
Please note that any event rental may be subject to additional charges, venue hire fees and to a higher security deposit, which will be in addition to any published rental rates and fees.
All events are on request only and subject to prior agreement from the owner, who reserves the right to refuse all events without their prior authorisation.
