Just beyond the medieval village of Thézan-les-Béziers, Maison Soulette is a relaxed and welcoming holiday home, perfect for sunny holidays in the heart of the Languedoc. With its garden, shaded dining terrace and generously sized heated pool, this detached home offers the ideal setting for long lunches, splashing afternoons and warm balmy evenings.
Inside, the house is thoughtfully arranged over three floors, with the attractive living and dining space opening out to the terrace. Prepare breakfast in the modern kitchen or gather in the spacious lounge, complete with TV and Wii console. Four bedrooms and four bathrooms accommodate up to 10 guests, including two en suite doubles, one twin, one family bathroom and a top-floor en suite bedroom with two sets of bunk-beds.
Days drift by beside the 10-metre heated pool or under the pergola with a chilled glass of local wine. Meals can be enjoyed outdoors, with a barbecue and large outdoor table inviting slow al-fresco dining. A table tennis set offers friendly competition, and gated parking adds ease for days exploring by car.
Located in a residential area, Maison Soulette is a short walk from village life. Thézan-les-Béziers offers a bakery, a twice-weekly traditional market and the popular restaurant La Carte Timbrée, all tucked within its medieval maze of streets. Larger supermarkets and a wider range of restaurants can be found just a short drive away.
Whether heading inland to canoe the River Orb or down to the Mediterranean beaches just 25 minutes away, the region is full of discovery. From cycling beside the Canal du Midi to vineyard tastings and dramatic national park hikes, the area promises something for every pace of holiday.
