Had a great stay for the week

Villa was great, very spacious, pool was excellent. Excellent communication from start to finish, was greeted on arrival and Paul was on hand to help and support when needed for advice on tourism spots on what was going on around town. Great location...

Set in the heart of a vibrant southern French village, Maison Ruisseau is an attractively renovated 19th-century home with a courtyard swimming pool. Close to vineyards of Languedoc and just 25 minutes from the Mediterranean coast, this charming home is ideal for guests seeking authentic village life with plenty to explore across the region.

Across two floors, the home works well for families or small groups. On the ground floor, a king-size bedroom and a modern shower room provide easy access and privacy. Upstairs, a bright kitchen opens out onto a covered wrap-around terrace where guests can dine al-fresco beside the barbecue. The open-plan living and dining room is a welcoming spot for relaxed evenings, with two further bedrooms ensuring there’s space for all.

Back downstairs, step outside to the private courtyard and you’ll find an 8-metre pool surrounded by sun loungers, a great spot to cool off after time out exploring.

Less than a 5-minute stroll brings you into the centre of Nissan-lez-Enserune, a lively village known for its traditional markets alongside a bakery, café-bars and restaurants including a pizzeria. Everything you need is within walking distance, from fresh morning pastries to artisan olive oil.

For cultural outings, explore the nearby Oppidum of Enserune or stroll along the historic Canal du Midi. Béziers, Narbonne, and Carcassonne offer unforgettable day trips, each steeped in history and southern charm, whilst the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean are also wonderful trips out.

Indeed, Maison Ruisseau is a wonderful base for beach days, vineyard tours and exploring Occitanie’s timeless landscapes.
